I'm so confused on the next one to the left. 'Redshirts' doesn't seem to be related to doomed Star Trek crew, or related to Garibaldi's forces. What is it?

Wouldn't mind seeing one of those for my Armegeddon Outta Here Zombies I got from Dave... Though I do need to practice my model making skills... Do you think you could shoot me the dimensions for the inner and outer box? Or a blank template so I can see how you made it?

Oh, so it is Trek crew. Thanks for the info. I kinda doubted that it was related to Garibaldi (no ponchos)

I've sent that one and the one I made for Okumarts "Snowball Wars" games to David Okum. I believe he is going to add them to the downloads at OBS, that's up to him though.

Ooh, shiney! I have been reinforcing the pieces with heavy card (cereal box density) and cutting off about 1mm on each axis so that they fit together when folded up. I'm hoping to post pictures of my build process soon, just been super busy.

Geez, those all look great! I think I gonna use the template to build a box for my Far Trek books, adding David's ST minis and corridors to the books. And then there's of course Darkfast Dungeons and Save the Day... I'll post pics once I'm finished...

Yeah I'm gonna make one for my AoH Zombie Ruckus I think... But I have the tendency to hotglue my minis to washers because the paper bases are way too labor intensive for my taste and don't hold the minis well enough... there has to be a happy medium...
And once I get my Save the Day book I'll make one for that... Oh Daaaaaaave? Where are you? Do I need to poke you with a stick again?

I use little transparent plasic stands very similar to those from Litko for my minis. Those actually work extremely well. Here in Germany, we have a company that specializes in accessories and materials for board game designers. They sell packages of 100 of these stands for 8 Euros (roughly 10 US-$), quite a bargain equipping you with more stands than you'll probably ever need in a single scene...

Well, I'm not done. Here is another one that always suffered from lack of presentation; Initially I was going to make a bigger box due to the tiles being 7"x10", then it occurred to me to cut the backing in half at the 5" mark so that the tiles could fold in half and fit in the box. What to do next...

I changed the name of this thread as it has expanded beyond David Okum's lovely games.
I'm working on revising my box templates as when I worked them up I'd always intended them to be backed with sturdy card. The box design I'm looking at now will fold up sturdier with less need for reinforcers.

Another one I've waited too long to build; My build pics are here; linkThose last couple pics are for the the lid insert on the inside; it comes with a page that fits in the lid, but I wanted to reinforce it better with heavier card. The bottom section builds the same as the top, just slightly smaller.

Now you have me thinking I need to make a box for my Knights of Camelot. We are going to play it this weekend at the cottage so I will make notes if the box needs organising. It will wait until I finish that ox-driven tank though.
