If you have trouble finding a ground tile you like, paperbrick has wonderful brickwork. I select 'Header' in order to get a cobblestone effect. paperbrick.co.uk/

I have a couple from a Dave Graffam bundle which I will build and test. But I will have a look at paperbrick too. What bothers me is the 6" square limit of a page. I was wondering how a large mat would work. I tried creating an A1 and A0 size image in gimp. They have .8 and 1.6GB ... so not that practical And then for the background I will try to get a blurry landscape onto a large print so I have a large background canvas.

Still no ground tiles but completed the beautiful South Gate model by Dave Graffam and testing my lighting rig on it. And then used it in a test shot for the carts and wagons in action. Finally had a go at the main promotion shot for the simple carts and wagons set. Need to update the watermark logo with my full logo. My woman, who was holding the black background paper, realized that a career in holding background plates was not for her

The pics are looking good, and the lighting is great. what are you using? I need to adjust mine. I feel I end up with to much glare, not enough warmth.

oldschooldm pointed out on fb that the lighting wasn't great in that shot so i tried to make it more what I wanted it to be: Torch lighting up a dark alley in the night. ignatious : They camera I use is a Sony RX100 mkI due to its low light capabilities (newer versions are even better in that respect). The lighting rig I have made myself (see this thread) to get evenly light objects and not the harsh highlighting of a single flash . I take pictures in RAW format and then develop them in Adobe Lightroom which is a great tool for photographers to fine tune their photos. You can do more crazy stuff in Photoshop but in terms of ease of use and focused on developing photos Lightroom is amazing.

That's a very pretty shot, very characterful. I'm not sure if the black background for your cart collection shot works, seems very cold. :/

I'm not sure if the black background for your cart collection shot works, seems very cold. :/ Thanks for the feedback. I was going for neutral background. To me grey felt colder. White was to bright and all the other colors too distracting :-) I will have to see what buyers reaction is. I have just completed the setup on drivethroughrpg and am awaiting approval. Also prepared the post on my site. Am exhausted. Cannot change a thing anymore. Need rest This process of getting the first product live after so much time has been fun but also really exhausting with all the other things to do. Web site, logos, instructions, cut files, testing etc. So much more than just the model! Thanks for all your help, feedback and test support!!! Here is a shot of an old, rusty, wrecked wagon in action.

Breathe! The good thing is, with OBS, that you can always add or modify the setup and the download later once you have some perspective on how it looks and how well it's doing. I think that what bothered me about the second black background preview was the lack of light and shadow that is evident in the first black background preview. I like that preview better. Best of luck.

I like the wrecked wagon pic. Simple, but something you can feel, like you're there.

...I think that what bothered me about the second black background preview was the lack of light and shadow that is evident in the first black background preview. Very good point. I will watch out for that in future photos I make (or the ones I redo). So for now I will start working on some additions to the carts and wagons and then test the updating process.

That last photo helps to show that the wagon is modeled top and bottom, and can be used in many different ways

There have been problems with the zip file not opening. I have uploaded a new version of the zip file (same content). I any of you have bought it, please let me know if the updating process works and if the new zip file is now working for everybody.

I saw photos of Asian rickshaw carts during research for the Samurai Castle and immediately wanted to build one. This should work nice with the Temple and the other Asian buildings I want to make. This is a first concept render with open and closed "rain-roof" (do they have a special name?) This is the first white build. I was asked to do a 15mm version so I am testing that also. The 15mm version is a strain to my eyes I have to admit. Esp the small handles, but it all is doable!

A little more progress on the details. Umbrella roof, mudguards and a spacer between the rickshaw hull and the wheels so they don't stick to the wall.

Got the first version of the rickshaw texturing finished today. How do you like it? I put some effort into making the simple flat roof look more "un-flat" :-) Hope it worked. Can you spot the stiches seams I have added on the cloth? There is the "naked" version and then with the closed and open cloth umbrella roof.

Made a little update for the Carts and Wagons set: the market wagon! Inspired by OldSchoolDM'S post about a game where he used some of my wagons, I finally decided to make this wagon which I wanted to do for some time now.
