Hi Everyone, I'm new here - getting into the tactical minis hobby and looking for a good Pulp game.
Has anyone ever tried .45 Adventure? It is a bit more expensive than some of the other PDF rules I have seen, but it intrigues me.
Just wondering if there were any thoughts on it before I purchased it.

All the Rattrap stuff is great. For Pulp it is excellent. If you go to the forum on their website, you can download some demo rules to see if you like the general feel of them. www.rattrapproductions.comCheers, Ben.

I have enjoyed playing the Rattrap games. I helped play test the Fantastic Worlds rules since a friend of mine is the one that wrote them. The rules aren't hard to pick up.

I picked up Fantastic Worlds and really like it. The Wound Table reminds of HeroClix.
Now I just need to find a nice Starship Skirmish System.

I do not lnow if you purchased your game system yet, but I must say that Rich has done wonders with his .45 Adventures series. I have heard great things about the other game systems he has designed, but I really enjoy the .45 Adventures skirmish rules. As to how pulpy .45 Adventures is, my counter question Ab's is how Pulpy are you? This game system can be very Pulpy; only limit is the folks playing the game really. As to Ab's question concerning Rich's stuff and Fantasy play, my return question is why are you wanting non-Fantasy rules to play Fantasy games? Seems a bit off to me, and I am the nutcase that loves being up in the air. Maybe it has to with being on the ventral side of this dirtball. I do not know.
