I've been working on tons of monsters, figured I should see how they look on the tabletop.
I still have many tweaks and fixes, but I like the way they are heading. I think I'll make "small" bases for small creatures like goblins and kobolds, and I need to shrink them a bit more, but in general, things are starting to look ready for action. I hope you like 'em so far!
I was going to say that the human looked a bit small and skinny - but I guess that is only in comparison to the goblins and kobold. If you are shrnking them a bit then it should solve that problem. Other than that, they look excellent.... Do let us know if you need anyone else to do "test" builds...... lol!!

Yeah I agree, I'm going to give the cultist a MAJOR overhaul. He actually looks fine on his own, but doesn't quite match the rest of the mobs, but, I guess that's why I test these out first. I was really just trying to get a cultist churned out and ready to rock. We've been encountering a lot of them in the various games I play, and there have been a few requests for cultists. I'll probably use this model for personal games, since I printed out 4 of 'em, but I'll make a much better model available when the pdfs go live.

cowboyleland: I always thought Tirick was a little mad.

Vermin King: Really worn out tonight, so when I'm like that I just look for things I used to have, but don't any more. I got the Zippy models and am rebuilding my Tirick/TCF Gaming folder. How the heck would anyone build his 1/1000 Battletech mechs without enlarging

Toman: yea I have been. pretty cool project. I've done a few scratch builds like that but not as large. cutting individual stones or carving stones in foam sucks.

Vermin King: Anybody else following Mauther's home-made Playmobile castle build? Looks really good so far

cowboyleland: Good point. Maybe make the wing feathers seperately so that the wind could get through them?

squirmydad: We had two operators for the hawk though, one to carry the weight and the other to flap the wings.

squirmydad: Probably silk and dowels. I assisted in the construction of a giant hawk puppet for an indoor show, probably about the same size as that pegasus.

Vermin King: It's got to be really light. The article dealt with parade puppets. I don't think I'd want to be trying to control that in a stiff wind

lightning: that's a nice pegasus!

shep: Will it fly, if you move the wings fast enough?
