Hey, thank you. I'm sitting on several projects that I'm afraid I won't have time to finish, but the main certification training is done, and my number one company-specific training is done, so hopefully I will be able to get back in a rhythm next month. I'm really glad these are making up for my dropping the ball.

OK, now, I'm really done. Seeing as this is Robots vs Power Armor, I decided I really had to do some robots. So here's some Battle Droids. But they fought the Clone Troopers. So I had to do some Clone Troopers. And then it took me a while to figure out how to export decent JPGs from my ancient copy of CorelDraw. So some major layout experimentation was in order. Anyway....here's the results: Clone Layout Final by grendels_mother64, on Flickr Trooper Layout Final by grendels_mother64, on Flickr OK, so now I'm done. Hope you like, GM64 Edit: I've been messing with the flickr share options because for some reason I can't see these images. I think it's fixed now.

Just a short time to go on this hoard. As always, if you finish your project late, you can always put it in a later hoard

So, officially closed, but you can still sneak them in. But hurry Nah, forgot about Panzer Bikini Chick Gun-carrier ... then I'm afraid that some major changes should be made here and there (like more armour added:), so most probably this time I'll be late for the party.

squirmydad - you had an "old robot model project" that you were working on. Last I saw, you said "I'll continue with it and I should have two entries done before the end of the month." Do you want me to take what you posted as-is? Did you have an in-progress version you'd like to sneak in? Do you want to pass on this one and submit it later? Just let me know. I'm going to start pulling together the stormtrooper pages soon, but I won't be done for a couple days.

Gonna have to redo the cutfiles for the storm troopers. Got them started today by following the black lines, but the sides don't line up well enough for that to do the figures justice. I'll follow the middle of the grey borders instead...

I'll follow the middle of the grey borders instead... Well, the grey lines are suppose to be the outline. That's why the black line is so thin. In my eyes, a lighter outline makes the figure stand out more....you don't lose the detail of the original outline in a mass of black. I suppose if you want a black outline, you could photo-fill the grey line black....

I totally get that. On figures I've done, I personally like a medium gray, but that is only on figures for myself derived from images that I'm sure are copywritten, so I haven't shared them here.
But if there was ever a Council of Miniature Figure Design, assuming I was invited, my vote would be for gray

Sorry for being so dang slow. I've got the cutfiles done and the PDF made, so the cutter is currently trying to help me along. Hopefully it won't take me too long to get to edging and assembling them all! Those battle droids look so cool printed.
