Thanks for the heads up migibb, I will make sure to check them out later today. Here's a quick pic of the "skeletons with spears" set alongside chiefasaur 's goblin skeleton. They don't have black borders - I will probably get round to adding one by hand when I am feeling steady-handed. And the fact they have tabs make them look even bigger than the gobbo (plus as I said, I printed them at 110%). And I finally realised what they look like - like some necromancer has raised a bunch of 'grey' aliens from the dead!!!! (Sorry for the threadjack chiefasaur !)

No problem. Just happy to see other people have assembled my minis ^-^ I actually really like that you do "side by sides" of different publisher's minis, it's interesting to see how everything looks on the tabletop.

Alright, I've got the look for the Bone Thrower's "skeleton crew" done. Orcs and dwarves don't normally work well together, but it doesn't matter when they're dead! Now I need to do their backs, layout their minis and the newly edited Bone Thrower, make some instructions and it will be ready to provide some serious firepower to your skeletal hordes! Sorry these next few sets are taking so long to get out, things have been busy. After the Bone Thrower, I'll probably release the big pack of elementals. And then, who knows? Dragons, orcs, lizardmen cavalry? I seriously have so many sets 20%-50% done.

Looking forward to the skeletal additions as well the dragons will be fun to have. Ultimately I'm hooked on your art style and will probably keep buying your sets even if I can't think of a use for them.

... I seriously have so many sets 20%-50% done. "chop, chop" then I know the feeling. Somewhere between generation of ideas in the head and turning them to finished products is a bottleneck!!!

Words like this really cheer me up Another orc skelly should be showing up in the actual orc army pack

No kidding! I have progress on about 8 sets now! I've had to institute a rule where I have to finish 2 sets before I can start on a new set. That way I can actually release things and not just have a ton of odds and ends laying around.

Completion is probably my number one problem (or real life... they are pretty close there)
I still want to finish the shipwreck (and possibly do a full boat). The medieval row project, the Oshkosh M-ATV, the scaled-down NYLife building from KC, the steam carriage, and a medieval non-royalty-owned carriage (something a somewhat prosperous merchant might use). I also want to do a mail coach.
I've also got the Dorado Motor Corp Sci-Fi vehicle that I have messed with for over a year now.
I guess what I'm getting at is that I have the utmost respect for folks who can finish projects.

Now I feel like a slacker, just drawing a bunch of flat monsters

Actually, they are probably above my pay-grade, but I feel like I have to stretch myself. And none of those projects would be overly difficult if I would pirate some existing artwork. But I want the projects to be MY projects. The easiest project at this point would be the matching stern to the shipwreck bow, but the steam carriage fits into this month's theme (although the NY Life building project would definitely have a steampunk feel. And I have the geometry worked out for the most part. The Oshkosh M-ATV has me hung up on the fenders. I think I would be more successful if I broke it down into parts rather than trying to build a complete model to start, but the steam carriage has a time frame, so I need to go to work on it.
The DMC is the piece that I am holding to the highest standard. Imagine a Delorean on a slightly raised chassis, with the engine moved to the front. Stretch the chassis to be a 6X6, with off-road tires instead of racing tires. Back end has three variants: pickup bed, SUV-type passenger compartment, and cargo box. If I do this one for release, I want it to be something someone would purchase. Same with the modular Medieval Row. The plan is to put them up as Pay What You Want, and hopefully make some change to purchase other offerings from OBS
My talents have migrated away from figures. I used to be a pretty good artist (Hallmark offered me an internship, which I stupidly did not take), and now, almost 40 years later, it is hard to redevelop my hand and eye. Doing great figures is definitely not slacking

I need to make some instructions and tweak the final PDFs, then the new Bone Thrower will be available! The model and crew fit on one page, but I think I'll include a "mob" page of the crew, since they work well as armored, skeletal orc spear-men and dwarven hammer-maids. I'll be returning to my regular flat monster figures for the next pack, I just wanted to take a stab at designing an actual model. You guys make it look so easy. Perhaps I'll make a catapult sometime down the road, but right now... SO MANY MONSTERS!

Maybe a male dwarf skeleton in the mob mix? Just thought I'd suggest since you make figures look easy.

Maybe a male dwarf skeleton in the mob mix? I don't really want to spend much more time on this kit, I have so many other beasts to work on. The mob page is more of a bonus. If there is enough demand for a skeletal, male dwarf, I'm sure one will show up in a pack though. Perhaps I could do a pack of undead non-human humanoids...

I shouldn't complain - I still haven't even finished off one of each of your first two sets!!! My gamer ADHD keeps kicking in...... So what sets do you have part-completed? What delights can we expect in the short-medium term (hopefully)?

So what sets do you have part-completed? What delights can we expect in the short-medium term (hopefully)? The Elemental set should be dropping in the next few weeks. I have 2 more medium elementals to draw, and 2 more summoners to repaint. The 4 elemental types (earth, air, water, fire) will be represented by a large and medium elemental, as well as a summoner. Here's some large elementals and summoners. Here's a large and medium earth elemental: After that, maybe lizardmen cavalry? It is %50 done. I really want to get a lot of progress on the dragon kit, but it is a lot of work. As far as other sets I have some amount of progress on... there are orcs, empire of serpents, kobolds and heroes I believe. It's a real monster-factory over here.

Working on the last elemental in the set! Hopefully I can finish/layout/upload the elementals pack before I vanish into the depths of California for a wedding.

There's a phrase I don't think I've ever heard -- Depths of California -- made me smile.
Have a great trip, and I definitely hope it will be the Pinnacle of California, not the depths

I definitely hope it will be the Pinnacle of California, not the depths I'm from Oregon, it's in our blood to find every part of California loathsome Thanks! I'm sure I'll have fun though, camping/drinking/friends is a good combo.

DriveThru loves to make my kits go live either while I'm at work, or riiiight before I leave for work, so I can't promote them right away. I can't wait until my new publisher probationary period ends

Doesn't this release mean you get your own board in the publishers section?
