I...rendered myself as a standee.... Now,there's a fun idea for a Hoard theme...self-portraiture! (Just to be clear, I am totally serious with that idea. No irony intended.)

<...> I went ahead and rendered myself as a standee in my last Halloween costume of record <...> <...> there's a fun idea for a Hoard theme...self-portraiture! <...> SELF-PORTRAITURE - like this idea! But what about some idea/modification: CWF users AVATARS versions /avatar-based minis/ should be also allowed

Here's "rookie/greenhorn" pumpkin earthworm ambusher... (BTW skipped "preliminary" versions - like "shy/hidden" pumpkin etc. - vide previous previews in this thread, as these might be not so appealing to vast majority of CWF users - ACTION is what we need! This one is kinda greenish as he is rather fresh'n'young one (thus also not that experienced ambusher/attacker!)

Here's my Halloween submission: a pile of skulls! It's sized for printing at 300dpi--if I read the guidelines correctly, that should be acceptable. I can provide a larger version if necessary (even a layered .psd or .xcf file, if you really want it). I went ahead and added a base, mostly to register the two sides on the printout

Maria in 2012, a Vampire I believe with a sort of Victorian masquerade facepiece. I only remember this from the picture, it was right after my second head injury and I honestly have no recollection of it at all. I still have 2014 and 2016 to go, I hope to get them both finished tomorrow for the deadline (a little more difficult than usual as I am out of town and just kind of working on these as oportunities allow.)

I also managed to finish up Maria 2014 tonight, portraying a member of the Scout Corps from "Attack On Titan." She saved her money a long time to buy all of the stuff, and was probably her most favorite costume ever.

Finally my last tribute cardboard warrior of my daughter Maria. This one is not entirely mine, as kiladecus from Grey Matter Games kindly gave permission for me to use the body of his Harleigh figure from the "Deathwish Society" set to create Maria's costume for this year. Harley Quinn was her favorite comics person and Suicide Squad was her favorite movie this year (and the title of which was sadly prophetic.) She already had her costume, and while this is not exactly it, she and I discussed printing out the Deathwish Society set and building it the night before she took her life. I already had a rasterized version of her most recent picture (currently my avatar) and it was mostly just scaling and cropping, followed by tweaking the skin tone to match the work of kiladecus. I have her "Daddy's Lil Monster" shirt hanging on my wall.

This is a tragic situation, and my thoughts are with you.
I am honored that you used something I did as a tribute to your daughter.

Hope I'm not too late with this one? As my previous submission (permes_h14_hoard_pumpkin2 file with "Rookie Earthworm Ambusher) belongs rather into "horror" range, so I'd like to submit also something perhaps more appropriate for kids: FRIENDLY PUMPKIN SMILEY And YES - it was supposed to be BIG and with simple and bold outline (so it would be easy to cut-off and glue, and more suitable to play for those with still small hands:) Anyway, please feel free (Admins) to exclude this submission if for any reason it doesn't suit to this year's Horde Halloween set attitude/idea

I'd like to see an orc warchief mounted on that FRIENDLY PUMPKIN SMILEY. And then I'd like to see jeffgeorge argue the merits of friendly smiley punkins as mounts vs. worgs

please feel free (Admins) to exclude this submission if for any reason it doesn't suit to this year's Horde Halloween set attitude/idea This is great! To be clear, there is no requirement that a submission fits the theme. It's always been ok to submit off theme! Of course, people can try to wait for an appropriate theme to come up, but it may be better for everyone to just get it released. Always, thank you (and everyone) for continuing to support the hoards with minis!

I'd like to see an orc warchief mounted on that FRIENDLY PUMPKIN SMILEY. And then I'd like to see jeffgeorge argue the merits of friendly smiley punkins as mounts vs. worgs This IS fantasy, BUT, there is NO WAY orcs are agriculturally advanced enough to supply dire pumpkins with the fertilizer they need. They just can't refine the nitrogen needed to support carnivorous gourds!

My opinion of orcs has been largely formed by playing Horde-side in World of Warcraft... orcs are quite agriculturally advanced, and can in fact eke out farms where no one else can even figure out how to survive!

I'd like to see an orc warchief mounted on that FRIENDLY PUMPKIN SMILEY. And then I'd like to see jeffgeorge argue the merits of friendly smiley punkins as mounts vs. worgs Friendly pumpkins eat less than worgs, and can be used as a light source whereas worgs cannot. On the other hand, while it is possible to mount a friendly pumpkin, their movement is 0" per round, so their utility as war mounts is limited. How's that?
