Having escaped North Dakota winters, I affirm, snow is evil. When I got out of the Air Force and left Wyoming, I swore I would never, ever, scrape snow and ice from my windshield. Now I need only ride out the occasional earthquake--no special tires needed.

My grandfather retired from there some 30+ years ago (I myself used to live in Cheyenne until 20 years ago)

Bluecloud2k2, ayup. Left active duty in 74. My daughter was born there...so she's been vaccinated against snow.

I was born and spent the first 12 years of my life living in Cheyenne. I live in Missouri now and laugh when people complain about the wind or the snow.
