Has anyone ever done or seen papermini modrons?

That would be a great one to see. I've never been that familiar with mechanus or any of that area of the genre but having seen them in the 5e MM I'm intrigued by them.

I only did one for my CORE1-1 run at SF Comicon and I just took the official artwork for one of them and did a quicky back since it was going to be seen only briefly (and then sliced in half.)
Sorry, I can't share it as I don't own the rights...

I have seen paper modrons, but I don't know if the designer who created them has released them yet. He shared them privately with me on FB while discussing a potential partnership. I'll ask him what came of them and when he gets back to me I'll let you know

Bill Roundy posted some black-and-white line-art modron minis on his blog almost two years ago now. Only mirror front art for the backs, but they are available as a pair of free PDF downloads here. If you look around his blog from the above link, there are more minis in a similar style (no backs again) for player characters, bullywugs, kobolds and dragons, some dragon cultists, and some undead (check the October 2014 blog posts for the latter, which also have a hint of colour!). Our own hackbarth tried to persuade him to come and join the merry throng here - and add backs to his minis - back in 2013, but I'd guess that didn't work out, as he seems to have moved away from minis to comic book art instead since 2014.

Started work on about 6 monodrones. Hopefully these will be useful to someone. Even more hopefully that I'll finish them. Lol
