Hey WaffleM and Dagger,
Love the game and I am really starting to get things going now. I would like to say that I have one request from someone if they are willing to take on the challenge. I would like to keep my minis free from being glued to the bases (more for storage convenience than anything else), so would someone like to make a basing system like OneMonk has done with his minis? Is there another alternative that I have just overlooked? This could probably be extended for Infantry figures as well. I'm not sure how I will base vehicles and air just yet.
Thanks for the help and any info.

I don't plat Armourgrid so I am just spit balling but I think you would have to add tabs to the bottom of the model and then slots to the bases. The base modding would be pretty straight forward. I don't know if the fold for the legs is usually along the bottom of the feet. If so that mod is going to be a bit more work.

I don't know if the fold for the legs is usually along the bottom of the feet. If so that mod is going to be a bit more work. This is what I was thinking of doing about this: Make 4 rectangles 5mm x 10mm and adding an appropriate texture (battleground to battleground bases, etc.) and back coloring, folding them in half and glueing 2 of them (1 pair for each leg) about 1mm apart, glueing a 2x1mm magnet on each side (I have plenty of them) so that they will seal the gap all the time. This way, I can put the minis in the slots and they will hold together, but will be easy to remove when I am done. I'm also designing a box to hold each color mech pieces in it's own cubby. Heavy mech legs, torso & chassis, weapons. Med legs, T&C, Weapons, and so forth. I've designed a lot of boxes before so this shouldn't be very difficult. EDIT: Got the preliminary design all done and laid out in GIMP. Going to port them over to Silhouette Studio 3 for cut files and then assemble to see what I get and what I need to tweak.

I will when I have a decent camera to work with. The pieces I am trying out are fairly tiny (10mm x 10mm folded in half). Let's see how this goes.

Not quite. These models are 2.5d, so a single slot down the middle won't work for them. I was thinking of picking up a sheet of styrene and some sticker paper and maybe cutting one out of that to see how well it goes together (Got the idea from going through my old Pirates of the Spanish Main PocketModels).

This is the miniatures that I am talking about here. Armor GridThese minis don't have tabs to insert into slots on them at all, so they need a different kind of basing to make them work. I haven't done too much work with these in a while since my printer died and I am trying to save up for a new one and a new CIS system to go with it. Once I can get those, I should also have my Zombie Manor and GunCrawl games completed and playtested as well. Then I can start really hammering on Armor Grid.

Not the most elligant way and they're not removeable, but for my two-and-a-half-dee models, I just used a healthy blob or two of PVA glue. It dries fairly clear, so isn't thar noticeable. If the glue blobs bother you, then you can alsays touch them up with a bit of brown or green paint to look like mud or grass.

You can make removable bases for every single figure but one for all will be not possible :/ Plasticine can work but will not look very nice.
