I had originally picked up the box ... either free or PWYW ... for storing ground tiles, but it looked like it would work for this, so I modified it a bit

Zoe and I played Star Wars for an hour and a half this afternoon. I told her I will keep my SW buildings at my folks, and when she wants to play, just bring her characters when she visits. I also found out she wants me to do dinosaurs (Jurassic Park type playset) for Christmas. I haven't done those in ages. I did some of these for a friend's son quite a while back, using the Patrick Pasques JP Explorer, a pdo of the JP gate and the kamikami dinos. I'll have to see what I can add into the mix

Zoe and I played Star Wars for an hour and a half this afternoon... Two points, both to the good: 1. Big points to a kid who knows enough to ask for cheesecake for her birthday, instead of some dumb old cake cake. 2. How great is it that girls are into SW now? In the 70s, Star Wars was strictly a boy thing. Now my 9-year-old daughter was dying to be Rey for Halloween. (I'll have to post a pic of the staff I made for her out of PVC pipes and assorted greebles.) She's also interested in playing more Hero Kids (can you say gateway RPG?) whenever we can find the time for it--she's a bit over-scheduled for the next several weeks.

Well, so much more kids being into Star Wars might have something to do with Warslers like us being their parents...

I didn't actually go to see Star Wars in the theaters until Vicky wanted to go. So, I think there were a few girls that were into it in the 70's
