I am painting up a tiny spaceship model. I don't think I have ever painted a tiny spaceship before. It is a 1/7500 Enterprise 1701-D from Star Trek: The Next Generation (which is being used a a 1/5000 Ambassador-class cruiser.)
So, I finished painting it up. I was pretty happy with the glow effect on the nacelles. Upon showing it to my wife, she said, "Is that it? Is it done? You need to put more detail on that."
Hi! I'm Harry, formerly "Coyotepunc" here on the forum. I am a hobby addict; I prefer papercraft scenery to use alongside my 28mm metal and plastic miniatures, and am not afraid to mix and match my hobby media. I game sci-fi, fantasy, and historical (including Ancients, Dark Ages, Renaissance, and World War II Italy & Sahara.)

Cardstock Dane: ForestB, Tell me about it! I had big problems last year, loads of under extrusion, which I couldn't understand - until I realized, that the new filament I had bought needed a lower nozzle temp.

ForestB: Cardstock Dane, don't mention those evil devices! Spent two 'fun' hours last night unclogging a heat break tube (the nozzle was a lost cause and replaced). Stupid bowden tube slipped and molten plastic spilled up into the heat break tube and congealed.

Cardstock Dane: Good to see that this place is still going strong! I don't drop by as often after I got a 3D printer, but 3D or not, this place is still an important resource for my campaigns.

okumarts: I took a year 'off' of some sites and social media but also focused on other things. It really didn't seem to make a difference so my new years resolution is to re-engage and enjoy it more.

Vermin King: There evidently was a feasibility study about a decade ago about a water pipeline from the Great Lakes to the Southwest states. I believe that water would have been even more expensive than bottled water
