This is roughly 1:8300 scale. A friend used his 3D printer to make it for me. My preferred scale is 1/5000, so this is kind of small. But it is almost perfect as an Ambassador-class ship in that scale. I would just need to deepen the belly a little. I have two more to finish up, so they will probably get the belly treatment.

Why don't you simply use the 1/5000 2.5D Galaxy Class mini I already posted in Okumart's Where No Man Has Gone Before thread?

My friend made a few of these for me. TNG isn't really my thing, and he has no clue about Star Trek, especially regarding TOS vs. TNG. He also made me 5 Klingon D-7s, which are exactly 1/5000 (which lines up with my wife's desire for more ships!) But it is nice to pick up a brush again. I think it has been 3 or 4 months since I painted anything shep: have you by chance done an Excelsior class in 1/5000?

shep: have you by chance done an Excelsior class in 1/5000? Not yet, but it's on my list... ...right after the D'Deridex Warbird.
