Hi ! I'm a kickstarter backer and a few days ago I started printing/cuting/gluing my own Goblins army with my Girlfriend who choose the Witches . While looking at your video we found that your figure seems taller than ours. With my little scale I just get stressed when it appears that my base was smaller... The fact is that the pdf are on Us Letter format and in here the format is A4 , so the printer just adapt the size ^^. I resolved the problem by resizing my file with this : www.pdfscripting.com/public/Free_Acrobat_Automation_Tools.cfm . It could be helpfull to somebody else, why not inform the futur customers by a little " WARNING" window ? And I just wanted to ask you if you were interested by a french translation of the rules

I have same problem printing some minis. Many of them are made by Letter format but I just print 'Actual size' on printer setting and check size with ruler to be sure. I was printing with other settings like 'fit to page' but then minis become 2mm taller. Not much of a diffrent actually.

There's not much to be aware of, because it's A4 all around the world except for you metric-hating people in the US (and perhaps in Canada)...

As radoslawkamil wrote, it's generally a good idea to print paper model files wit the Actual Size setting.

Canada went metric in the 70's shep. But many of us are "bilingual" because we used one set of measurements in school and another to talk to our parents. Lots of stuff is still sold in imperial sizes because it would have been expensive to replace all the old machines at once. And 75% of our trade is with the US which has 10 times our population.

So, basically Canadians are "slaves" to old customs...

I prefer to think that we are evolving, but slowly.

By the time we learn to fully implement the metric system in Canada the world will have moved on to something even more amazing.

In my part of the world they abandoned the imperial units ages ago and we were only ever taught metric, and so I only know imperial units because I played DnD as a kid. There are only a handful of things that we use the "old measurements" for... for example, we measure beer in pints and quarts (and not very accurately at that, a pint is of beer is 500ml if it's from a tap, and 333ml if it's in a bottle; a quart is 675ml). By virtue of the fact that clothing is imported from places that export primarily to the US and UK, it's quite common to measure body parts in inches as well, but most folks around here don't even realise that it's going on. They just assume that 32 on their jeans is just some sort of jeans size code. We also have an odd tendency to describe our heights in feet rather than in metres, which is probably because of TV... we'll measure it in meters and then convert it because we're weird like that.
It's next to impossible to find a ruler or tape measure that has inches on it... If it weren't for the Games Workshop tape measure I bought for use in playing Warhammer, I wouldn't be able to measure inches directly at all.

Actually, I think metric is more fun: "Yours is six? Mine is 153!"

Back in the 90's I was backpacking in the UK. When I told some Brits I weighted 140 lbs. They asked "What's that in stone?" I couldn't believe anyone thought in stone anymore. Then I found out that one stone is 14 lbs and I couldn't believe they couldn't do the math on their own.

I guess, it's always a matter of how easy the math is made for you. If you have measuring tapes and scales in the "right" type of measurement, you'd not do the math either. And over time, you simply forget your equations... I have to admit, though, that not being able to multiply by 10 is kind of bad news, esp. for the maths teacher...

Over here, if you weigh 90 you're really, really heavy! I certainly hope you don't mean kilograms... :S That would make me obese, as I weigh 93.

I had a Filipino friend in Alberta some time ago who was telling me how they deal with -40 temperatures. I asked whether that was Celsius or Fahrenheit. He said it didn't matter, because -40C is -40F. I learned something new.
I also decided I would prefer to live somewhere that never gets that cold
