Hi all, I'm new to the forum, so apologies if I'm launching straight into my request without understanding any papercraft etiquette :/ I've been looking to replace the plastic player pawns in Pandemic Iberia with some more visual paper miniatures. Would appreciate any guidance/assistance regarding where I could find characters for this. A screenshot of the characters needed: www.gamesquest.co.uk/blog/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Pandemic-Iberia-Board-Game-Roles.jpgThank you,

Welcome to the forum. bravesirkevin has a number of sets that could fill the need. Also check the Hoards and downloads. There is a wealth of treasure in this forum.

Looks like Pulp characters.

I don't think that they fit the pulp genre. More of a Victorian/Napoleonic era (ca. late 19th century).
Were you wanting to replace the actual pawns with tokens or the pawns with representations of the cards?

Crowstuff may be down, but if you scroll down in that second link (the space-1189 link), you'll find that the versions that cowboyleland modded from scarecrow's originals, adding back views, are available from Leland's links. They are linked just one page per post, so be sure and scroll through the whole thread to find them all. They are very cool minis, congrats to both creators. Also, the Elder Thing you linked to looks very cool, and comes with several figures shown in profile, with mirrored sides. While I prefer fronts and backs for humanoids (I can live with mirrored sides for quadrupeds shown in profile), scarecrow's Victorians with the Elder Thing are still pretty cool.

Hi all, Thanks a ton for the responses! There is some awesome artwork in those links that you provided. Yup - I want to replace the boring plastic player pawns with little paper/card character standees I'm a boardgamer (only really RPG on pc/console) and have recently been looking into 'modding' some parts of the different games I own to make them more attractive/interesting. If you can think of anything else please keep them coming, but I'll start going through what you already sent and see what I can match up with the player cards.

old squirmydad had some workers and soldiers for his VSF air ship (or maybe it was the Cog Cruisers), but I am not seeing the link now. What other games do you play?

Crow's stuff is in the Wayback Machine, and I have a copy of them if need to be uploaded.

You know, I did a quick search for Holmes papercraft to see if anything magical should appear. One of the Chris Schweitzer playsets is available, but somewhat whimsical. His other set that I can't find a legitimate copy of is probably too whimsical.
The search turned up something interesting. Paper dolls by Tierney. A little gimp-work could probably yield some fine characters

I also did a bunch of backs for hoard #92. It was western themed but included bankers etc. Western townsfolk are victorians moved across the pond and into the desert. Click on "downloads" on the main navigation bar and then "Hoards" to find the year that contains #92.
