Frostgrave is what brought me back to papercraft gaming. I discovered Frostgrave about a month ago, and after reading through the book, I became very excited to try to play it. Now I just need to convince the rest of my social circle. I am assembling a "demo kit" and going from there. FrostgraveFor those unfamiliar with it, it's kind of a Mordheim style game where there is this city that was magically frozen for years, and now has dethawed. Players control a wizard running a warband and raiding the ruins of the city for the usual wealth, fame, and magical bits. I am currently reaquiring my paper mini collection and sorting through what I have to find appropriate models for the warbands. After that, the next step is terrain. I currently am looking at the Ravenfell line from Fat Dragon games, since it has an option for snowy textures. Does any body have any recommendations? Also, I am noticing a severe lack of humans armed with crossbows in my mini assortment. There is one or two in the Imperfect collections in Dryws gallery, but that is all I have found. The game does differentiate them from traditional archers, otherwise I'd have plenty. Any help is much appreciated!

I like the art, but the mirrored art and side profile being different than every other mini I have would bug me too much to use. As an aside, it does make me realize that side profile is definitely a way to go when minis use mirrored art. It makes it less noticeable. I realized during my mini file sort that a T-Rex skeleton mini in one of the early Hoard files is that way. I used that mini every excuse I could years ago without even realizing its mirrored art. Frostgrave Egypt looks great!

There are actually one or two in the "Frozen City" set that have a more traditional 'face-on' viewpoint, which look great (IMHO).... Still with mirrored backs sadly.... If he did more like that (and with back art) I would be buying up and using all of them!!!
