Claudio has a new model, since Game of Thrones is about to start again. You can find the 18 page, 258 piece model at his site, paperinside.com/game-of-thrones-drogon/I'll probably never build it, but it sure is pretty

Being one of the probably very few on this planet who has not seen the TV series. I am impressed by this dragon model.

Maybe even scores of us. I did catch a few episodes during an HBO preview weekend. I'm not paying for HBO just for that, though

Being one of the probably very few on this planet who has not seen the TV series. There are literally dozens of us! DOZENS! That is reassuring. I started reading the first book and found it too violent. One of the few books I abandoned mid journey. Tried watching the first episode and also found just violence and sex. Too little substance for my taste. My stepsons tells me it's the best series and I should watch it though. He says it gets better later on. So ... maybe when life gets really boring I'll give it another try

When life gets boring here, there's baseball and basketball. Great TV to have on when you are concentrating on something else

So ... maybe when life gets really boring I'll give it another try G.R.R.Martin certainly does depict a violent and lustful world but there is also a great deal of substance in the characterisation he achieves in his novels. I read them years ago. The TV shows do a reasonable job of representing some of that. I have also heard it said that the sex and violence is toned down in the late going, but I am about half way through season 5 and I don't think that is actually the case, unless season six is very different.
