This is a nice find, and I have to say, the web-page is fascinating. I am always impressed by the ingenuity and skills out there on the net. I have no need for an animator/coder/prop designer, but if I did I would totally contact this guy. Good stuff, all round.

The Rover download seems to be gone. Does anyone have it that can share it?
Thank you

Oh no! This is why my hard drive is stuffed with models I might build some day...in case the source gets eaten by the internet gremlins! Sadly, it looks like I didn't save this one, and now I wish I had.

If I remember correctly, the 'axles' were way too spindly. It would have either taken a re-design, or barbecue skewers or something sandwiched in there to be able to support the thing. The axles also fitted into a slot in the wheels that looked very weak. While it looked cool, I really didn't feel like redesigning someone else's model at the time.
I bet it is out there on the pirate sites

I bet it is out there on the pirate sites I generally buy toy cars or trucks at the dollar stores for my wheels, and mount them on pins or nails attached to the models (working on the Sandmaster from genet right now, inch and a half wheels are BIG!) I was considering using buttons for the wheels on my mantis conversions, and may go back to revisit that idea with my leftovers lol.
