Since Vermin King was worried about the lack of posts last night, I decided to take a break from building this thing and housework to snap some pictures of the completed papercraft portion of the Sandmaster from Genet Models: ^Here we have a bit of a 3/4 view, part top, part side. You can see the metal posts that the wheels will attach to. ^Side view. This thing is over 40' long in scale, the size of a tractor trailer. ^A bit of a front view. ^Here it is with the other vehicles I have built recently. The Sentinel lino fits underneath the Sandmaster even before the wheels! As I mentioned elsewhere, I am using wheels from a toy truck instead of the wheel patterns provided with the kit. I am not a big fan of papercraft wheels and I replace them whenever I can. In this case, they are 1 3/4" high, which is about 1/4" higher than the ones that come with it. So it will be a little higher than expected.

I'm not sure "fits underneath" is appropriate language. At least the trike isn't high-fiving the Sandmaster... ( ) Seriously, though, model looks pretty cool.

I finished it yesterday. Hopefully pics tonight. I'm not too happy with the way the wheels turned out after all.
