I built the larger Striders today, hopefully pics tomorrow. I will try to get both versions (small and large) formatted on the template. I am finished with the design of the treaded tractor and trailer. My second "organic" project was a bust for a couple of reasons. I am going to try some mods of the Space Squuds from a few months ago, I've some ideas I'd like to try with them. I'll format those on the template as well.

I plan to do the easy build conversion of the 6x6 APV, and add a few additional color schemes (including one light on the paint, but still good looking and usefull).
The original idea for 4x4 M11 project is probably negative, a relative I have not seen for many years will be coming over, so not enough time for a grand project. But I might menage to do a partial modernization combined with easy build conversion.

I am attempting work on my first submission: a short-line diesel locomotive, around 7-8" long, as I have seen little in the way of railroad entries. At this point I am not confident that I will finish by the end of the month. Eventually I hope to continue work on a string of railroad equipment over the long course of time. Cheers!

Some day, I really want to revisit the Wild Wild West project I wanted to pursue. What era are you wanting to do?

I've played around with the layout on the APC, and I have it enlarged about as much as I can without going to three pages. And of course, PostImage is acting up again. I'll post when I get back Sunday Still down Ta da! At this scale, it is just a tad larger than the 4X4

The railroad equipment would be classified "contemporary" - but would fit anything from "early" diesel - which would fit with pulp era to modern. Eventually I want to do some old western oriented stuff.

OK, here we go are: two big pink Striders and a not-so-big pink Strider. The assembly went well, I just need to finish formatting them for submission. That is a Wargames Factory 28mm WWII Soviet soldier for size comparison purposes. Please let me know what all y'all think! EDIT: it occurs to me that these are fairly tentacle-y and creepy models, would all y'all like me to hold them back for next monthj's Forum Hoard 162: February Elder God Valentines? Input requested

I would say that you could do either, they are rather nice! Maybe do a more elderesque version for the next horde? giving them funky mouthed tentacles . . .

I'll post when I get back Sunday Still down Ta da! At this scale, it is just a tad larger than the 4X4 The main body should be 2" across, and each of the Tread parts should be a quarter inch IIRC. My SSD got fried so I had to do a re-install of windows (luckily my HDD was fine so my files were recoverable). I have not yet reinstalled any of my image editing software yet since I've been busy with other things.

That works. Currently the body is 1 3/4 inches across. Body and tracks have been scaled the same. I think I should be able to get this to the appropriate scale in the two pages, though I will have to reduce the size of the text on the Tracks page.

Had to lose part of the tab width, and it is kind of tight, but it fits

All of the 4X4's are formatted, so that the same cut-file will work for each.

All of the 4X4's are formatted, so that the same cut-file will work for each. They fit without resizing... should have checked first, I thought they will not fit. Sorry for the extra hustle.

Once I got one set, it was just a matter of replacing parts with the other color parts. Not too tedious. I was half-tempted to do the redneck version with body parts in different colors.
But I resisted and my character is better for my discipline.
It would be funny, though

That's why I test build everything. I'd hate to release something that doesn't quite work. Good luck

Starting to look like a motorpool. This doesn't even have any of Dave Winfield's Hummers, or the tanks. I think I'm going to have to start giving some of these to the neighbor kids
