I am trying mix 2d paper minis with some 3d scratch craftings... I do the same. Or sometimes the opposite, using papercraft scenery with my 3d miniatures.

I took a look just 3 or 4 days ago ( my father recommended me ) but i need to say that i wasnt able to upload it to my computer, i will try again in my next day off ( did i told you i am a mess with the technology ? ) anyway, now i am using a free program called Pxlr ( i think ) is like Photoshop but...well, like an old Photoshop version. Thanks Vermin anyway...

I think the most important thing is make a good balance on the table isn´t it? anyway, in this forum i am learning a lot so i will try to make some papercrafts by my self...just i need to study a little more because...it seems so dificult! But, i have to say that, dont know why ( maybe the money ) i like so much the paper minis...is something amazing to me. Best regards Coyotepunc!

that is the point, i dont know how to start making something in a papercraft style... If you don't want to use Sketch Up (I don't know how) you can start with scrap paper or scrap card if you have it and start trying to cut and fold the shapes you want. You can use painter's tape or poster putty to stick things together temporarily and then take them apart to trace and modify. You can even paint your rough copies and have a collection started before you print out anything.

Nice find!
Do not worry about posting the work in progress. Just work on something you like, and take pictures when you feel you need a break.

Nice! I love his head shape! And I like that he has quite realistic proportions but at the shame time a comic style. Probably I find I little strange the stroke in his pelvic region. Is it taller than other figures you did?

HI Okoto!! yeah, you have a good eye sir! i tried to give some more realistic proportions but keep my style as well... I think i am going to choose this one, i mean, the style, to make the hole bunch of minis. I think my minis always had short legs, so i decide just increase a little bit...
Next step, scanner and colouring following your advice...lets see what happen Cheers my friend!
