Hello everyone! I open this thread to show you a project I had in stand by. Now that I have finished recovering my old figures I would like to continue developing it, I don´t know how much time it will cost me because I want to make other projects too at the same time, but, step by step I started making these figures trying new styles, but when I finished the first, which is the blue man on the right, I started thinking in a story for them. So my idea is to make a dungeon game that elapses in a dungeon where the women are the bosses (that´s why I call this thread Matriarchal Dungeon). I would like to make the figures, the scenography and the rules. I think the big challenge will be to develop the rules, I have not much experience with these games and no people in my little village to test it (and my girlfriend an my dog don´t like this "nerd things" they say). I have to say that I love this games but I normally don´t have the oportunity to play them... But I think I can find information in this forum and in Internet. If someone can tell me where I can find more information about rules devolepment I will be very grateful Anyway the idea of making the rules is the excuse to develop these figures, some scenography and a story I like. And when I finish it I will upload it in my web. I leave here some figures. Grettings!

Why do you think you need new rules? What about your game do you think isn't covered in other rule sets? It seems to me a matriarchal dungeon is really a story/flavour thing. If you want to give the story a little boost you can give the females better statistics or a "+1 to all rolls" kind of bonus.
The first two questions are not rhetorical: knowing what you want will help focus what kind of rules you need to write, or which system you decide to be compatible with.

Thanks for comment I wanted to made the rules because I enjoy creating rules and stories. I have three games to develope in mind (I have never finished one), one is this, I have some idea of how I want them to work. For now the rules are only sketches in paper and in my mind. Now that I have decided to return the game and finish it (later or earlier), I want to research more about rules, because you are right and probably there are rule sets that can work with this game. I think the idea for the game is quite simple. It is a game for 5 players: 4 "heroes" and the Master. The "heores" characteristics are predefined. The game elapses in a dungeon with probably 5 diferent stages (I am not sure) with a defined goal. Stages are predefined too, but I was thinking in some rules to change them, to make them different between a game and another. The goal is defined but the end of the game will change too depending on what the players do. I want there to be some traps, equipment (very basic), and diferent skills for the "heroes" and enemies. What "heroes" can do is basically move, atack and defend, open doors and chests. Maybe I can show here the rules as I develop them. Grettings!
