I had a question on scales or rather 10mm vs 15mm. I was thinking of picking up the two Zone 10 sets from Crooked Staff Publishing on Wargame Vault that are 10mm to use with my Armor Grid Mech Attack minis and such that are 15mm, but was wandering would the buildings in 10mm look out of place with 15mm or are they close enough in scale that it really wouldn't be crazy noticeable (without changing the print scale)? Also any recommendations for 15mm scifi models?

Print 10mm terrain at 150% for 15mm terrain It can be a bit more complicated when you need to reformat the templates so they don't print larger than the paper...

Thanks Coyotepunc! That at least gives me an idea of what I'm looking at scale wise lol! I might play around with 10mm a bit and see how it looks and maybe try scaling up from there. After a little research I seen where a bunch of people liked using 10mm buildings for 15mm Wargaming due to the smaller footprint of the buildings lol.

I have no experience with that, but I'd heard more than once that players did that sometimes. Would there be enough room to enlarge the 10mm buildings to 11mm or 12mm? Probably not enough room for a 20% enlargement, but most of the files I have can accommodate a 10% enlargement, unless they were A4 to begin with

In terms of rescaling papercraft models, it's usually better to scale down than up, as the quality often declines when you try to enlarge things (because it wasn't there in the original images). So, most 28mm-30mm scale models will easily, and quite well, scale down to 20mm, 15mm-18mm or 10mm (because I've done a lot of this!). The Dave Graffam building kits and Mystic Mountain's 3D paper buildings, at least, come with a handy scaling chart so you know what percentages to use for easy rescaling, but you can find similar charts free online too.

Mostly out of curiosity is there a way to resize pages permanently?

In Gimp, I will create a new page and drop the re-sized parts onto the new page and export that to file name with a number indicating how much I enlarged or shrank.
Like if I reduce to 95%, 'xxxx 95.pdf', or enlarge by 10%, 'xxxx 110.pdf"
A lot of the Koolwheelz have that designation

Nice! I might just have to try something like that in Photoshop.

I have a number of models that I have at 135% also. When you get up to that much of an enlargement, there is almost no getting around having to re-arrange parts on the pages

Yeah I've really been wanting to scale a few things and save them that way to use with Mech Attack which is 15mm. Dave Graffam has a few models I've considered doing that with, bonus is he has a chart with print scales already on it. I've also considered reducing Slicks minis since the Terra Force already have a 15mm version out now.
I've also found some Mechwarrior terrain on Dungeon Crawlers that I think is close to 15mm scale (it didn't really say but from what I could find I think is between 10-15mm) or at least eye balling it looks close enough. I also picked up the 2 Zone 10 sets on DriveThruRPG that are 10mm and comparing them to the buildings in Mech Attack they look really close, of coarse that's just looking at the pages side by side at the same page scale/zoom in PDF form.
So I've kinda been on the hunt for 15mm Sci-fi stuff to add to my game or at least possibly re-scale some bigger stuff that looks easy to build at a smaller scale (I know if it's fiddly in 25/30mm it will be way worse in 15mm lol). Mel's 15mm convoy is also on my list to build and compare to Mech Attack minis lol.
Edit: Also Dream Pod 9 has some free paper terrain files in there Heavy Gear download section ment for 15mm I believe that I picked up too lol.
