Hello All - new to this forum. Have been paper crafting for years and thought I post a few shots from my Hoard of the Dragon Queen / Rise of Tiamat campaign. All of these pics have already been posted on the Fat Dragon Games forums but I thought I also post them here. I craft a lot of 3D terrain, but this community seems very focused on paper terrain so I'll keep my focus there. Episode 6 Castle Naerytar: While tracking the lizardfolk trail through the Mere of Dead Men, the party located a camp. While investigating a group of lizardfolk, bullywugs, and cultist staged an ambush by boat. Partway through the battle, the lizardfolk turned on the cultists and bullywugs and allied with the party. With some good negotiation and gifts of metal weapons, the lizardfolk agreed to take them to Castle Naerytar in exchange for their "assistance" with dealing with the "dragon kneelers" inside. DSC02280_20 by Joe McPherson, on Flickr DSC02282_20 by Joe McPherson, on Flickr Party was taken to meet with the Lizardfolk elders. A revolt was planned. The lizardfolk would use superior numbers to attack the front gates as the party snuck into the castle and assault it from the inside. DSC02288_20 by Joe McPherson, on Flickr Instead of building the interior of Castle Naerytar I simplified things and used some battle maps I had lying around. I had multiple maps for all three levels of the keep and dressed up the rooms with paper terrain as the party explored. Episode 7: Hunting Lodge:
I build both floors but the party only ended up explorer around 40% of the lodge. After a few smaller skirmishes they opted to parlay with Talis. An unlikely temporary truce to further both their agendas.
