Here are more views of the "blue boat"
Basically you can change all the different areas to a variety of colors. The basic wood hull comes in two skins. A light wood with dark details and a dark wood with light details. And then you can add different colors to different details and create gazillions of different boats :-)
I am a huge fan and have purchased all the sets so far but I didn't see that the docks were released? Or did I miss those?
thank you very much for your support! These docks were in the "small boats and docks" release in July 2018 on my Patreon. For now the Pirate Fleet series will only be available on Patreon as I am saving these sets for my first kickstarter. If you have missed them there, just write me a short eMail (email@example.com) and we can sort it out. There is always a solution
I have not planned anything special for interior for now, but with the parts you can mod an interior (walls and floor). This month I am releasing the first half (hull, deck and cabin) but next month when I do the rest I might have more time to think about interior details.
What would go into the cabin? A captains hammock? log book desk?

If you can trust Oat Krunchies, there would be chairs and weapons on the walls. I'm not sure if that is a desk or table, but there is also a nightstand to the left of the window. Any of these would probably be appropriate furnishings. That is probably the captain's cabin, so things of value would probably be stored there. In the Black Arrow, Shelton steals a ship, and weapons, small arms and a statue of the Virgin were in the captain's cabin.
There are no strangers in this world, only people I haven't embarrassed ... yet!
Basically, since the chest already substitues for a table in emergencies, it could substitute for a table all the time. So, you could put a hammock, a chest (or two), a chair, and some kind of shelf into the cabin and have it filled with all a captain would need.
I have been working on chests and barrels. So I will also do some hammocks and table. The weapon rack/shelves I might do as wall texture. This could be a nice generic sub set! Thank you for the link shep
Then here is a little preview of the new textured build. As the ship is taking longer than my usual one month release schedule I have to release the hull only this month and then continue with the rig the next. So here is the old, weather beaten hull build :-)
And just for comparison the new and the old. I went lighter and bleached with the wood tone to add to the used look.

wyvern: I've found Photos loading the first image slowly every time I've switched on the computer in recent times. It's been OK after that, but seems like it can't quite remember how to do it just after it's been woken up...

surfduke: Do you want a preview pdf of the Jupiter 2 here? If so how do I post it.

Vermin King: That would explain why 'Photos' loaded slower this weekend. It was 'improved'

wyvern: It wasn't some fresh Windows "improvement" then... I noticed the icon for the MS image viewer, "Photos", changed a few days back as well. Doesn't seem to have changed the app, as far as I can tell. Yet.

lightning: Glad that only a restart was involved. I wouldn't have the energy to much more today :-)

Vermin King: I had a scare and a half. Went to open a pdf for the first time today and nothing happened. Checked All Programs and saw that Reader updated on 05/23. Restarting fixed it. Whew

Vermin King: Really worn out tonight, so when I'm like that I just look for things I used to have, but don't any more. I got the Zippy models and am rebuilding my Tirick/TCF Gaming folder. How the heck would anyone build his 1/1000 Battletech mechs without enlarging

Toman: yea I have been. pretty cool project. I've done a few scratch builds like that but not as large. cutting individual stones or carving stones in foam sucks.

Vermin King: Anybody else following Mauther's home-made Playmobile castle build? Looks really good so far

cowboyleland: Good point. Maybe make the wing feathers seperately so that the wind could get through them?

squirmydad: We had two operators for the hawk though, one to carry the weight and the other to flap the wings.

squirmydad: Probably silk and dowels. I assisted in the construction of a giant hawk puppet for an indoor show, probably about the same size as that pegasus.

Vermin King: It's got to be really light. The article dealt with parade puppets. I don't think I'd want to be trying to control that in a stiff wind

lightning: that's a nice pegasus!
May 13, 2020 4:10:32 GMT -9
shep: Will it fly, if you move the wings fast enough?
