Greetings to all my fellow Cardboard Warriors! This week I released my first unit of paper cavalry. These guys were a challenge but I'm very pleased with how they turned out. I have attached the free version to this post. You can also find it on my Patreon page: www.patreon.com/paperarmies along with all my other paper minis sets. I would love to hear your thoughts! edit: It seems the PDF file is too large so I have broken the set up and attached JPGs instead. You can get the original file here: www.patreon.com/file?h=18124833&i=2234198Is there a better way to do this? Attachments:

I think that's pretty amazing. I am stealing your riders and reskinning them for use on motorcycles.

I like them. Printed them of but haven't built yet. Would it be possible to poss the legs like the arms or would that make the saddles look weird?

Toman I think I understand your question. I did a quick test on one of them and I didn't care for the result. Since the legs are bent outwards and around the saddle in the artwork, posing them like the arms looked weird to me, like the legs were broken. Having said that, I would still try it out for yourself!

I agree they look weird if you bend it to much, but a slight bend makes it look nice to me. not such a sharp angle when looking from front and back.

Doesn't turn out great in pictures but I think bending the legs slightly adds tp the 2.5D look

Ahh I misunderstood. I think that looks great! Subtle but effective. It also holds the riders in place.

It is a pity that there are no typical 2D figures.

pavaro I have been thinking about creating a more detailed illustration to go with each set and releasing it as a typical 2D fig. For the time being I must focus on getting on top of and ahead of my current work load.

For the time being I must focus on getting on top of and ahead of my current work load. I don't have anything to yours 2.5 D figures, but generally I do not like such a concept of paper figures. But this is my subjective opinion.
