I've been playing a lot with my Temples of Terror building set, and having fun with minis from the likes of okumarts , bravesirkevin and chiefasaur ! They all looked great together, and I tried to add in some props that would compliment the environment. It's a multi-level build that I could bring onto the table piecemeal. I used @okumart's Beasts & Barbarians: Hero Construction Set to start off the adventure. There's a fun mix of characters there and I thought they fit the sandy temple adventure theme. What would a Temple of Snakes be without snakes? I mean, if I were running someone through this little temple, I'd have called it the "Temple of Hammocks and Frozen Beverages" just to throw them off. The bulk of the snakey dudes came from the Trash Mob Minis Empire of Snakes: Army Pack set, though I had a super secret source for some additional baby sneks. I pulled the ferns from the walls and turned them into standees and 2.5d props to use throughout the temple. They're easy to make this way, and they provide for possible obstacles or things to interact with/take cover behind. The big boss of this adventure was from bravesirkevin 's Sacraments of the Brotherhood set. Stopped short, he didn't get the opportunity to kill off a modified Wood Elf Briar Weaver mini from bravesirkevin 's It's a Kind of Magic! set. She was modified to lay flat on the altar, with the robes draping down.
Here's the final shot.
