Earlier this month at another forum, a modeler built a pre-printed kit of the Alcala Gate in Madrid. www.papermodelers.com/forum/gallery-announcements/41849-alcala-gate-madrid.html That photo inspired me to look up the gate and the publisher and leave a comment in the Gallery thread. A few days later I got a PM asking me if I'd like a copy. I said sure and sent him my email. He said that it was actually pre-printed and he would need my mailing address, to which I responded that he shouldn't go the expense, but he said he had three copies of it, and since he had built one, he just wanted to send it to someone who would appreciate it. And don't worry about the cost, he'd send it the cheapest way possible, so give it three weeks. He said that on the 18th and it arrived today ... from London! And it is in such great shape, you would think he just handed it to me, instead of trusting the mail.

That looks really neat. I am also curious about your tooth-pick holder.

One of my favorite multi-taskers. Way back when, I got the Ebbles CD-Rom and the Paper Model Starter kit. It had various knives, blades, glues, a cutting mat and this thing. I think it is supposed to smooth glue. I use it to score, smooth glue joins, and ... hold my glue toothpicks

Mel had a bunch of great stuff as well as those fabulous models.
