Anyone interested in compiling paper army files for this free rule set? Very interested in testing it out with my wife and I was thinking I could save my collected file for others.

Sorry, but sometimes I don´t understand English very well... Are you looking for paper miniatures to play The Ninth Age (the game that in the past was warhammer?)?... If this is the case, I have paperfigures to play Ninth Age in my web (www.pablogalvanilustracion.com), you can download them for free. They are made in a peculiar style, hope you like

Let’s resurrect this thread. Can we talk about The 9th Age some more?
I definitely support this non-profit wargaming rules project. I’m currently working on paper minis for some of the Quickstarter version Army Lists. Orcs and Goblins are finished, Empire of Sonnstahl and Dwarven Holds will be finished very soon. Looking at Ogre Khans and Beast Herds next (perhaps a 3rd faction). If you don’t know what I’m talking about, why not check out the 100% free ruleset and army books at > the-9th-Age.com or just google 9th age.
Well balanced rank&file wargaming rules using 28mm fantasy minis from any manufacturer you please. Again, 100% FREE, you will not spend a penny to access any of the downloadable PDF rules or army books for the Full Version or the Quickstarter. What more do you want?

The only fantasy-based 3d paperfig I made was a lich last year so that could motivate me to do something else in the genre.

What more do you want? out of curiousity, is there a 40k 9th age equivalent ? I found Grimdark Future but a lot of files appear to be behind a paywall.

the only one page rules stuff behind a "pay wall" are the "full" rulebooks which give you more scenarios and other un-needed rules and add ons, and the point calculator for creating your own units. all basic rules and army books are completely free. they are not as complex as 9th age or 40k either so if you are looking for a bunch of complex rules with a lot of cool unnecessary crap you won't like One Page Rules. I have not found any other 40k look alike rules though.

I think the team has enough on their plate trying to get 9th Age out there (though it’s definitely growing!) and develop all the background, balancing points and rules, etc. But I hope you can find something! I don’t do much sci-fi, so I really can’t help you there...

The only fantasy-based 3d paperfig I made was a lich last year so that could motivate me to do something else in the genre. I know that some artists in the past have uploaded what they call “flat paper proxies” - just 2d paper laying flat - in the Community Resources>flat paper proxies section of the Wiki. But there isn’t much in the way of paperfigs of any kind in the forum or community at the moment. I have posted pictures in the gallery, and have a thread of the paper minis available on my Patreon. Because I’m selling my minis, I had to get a “Miniature Company” tag to post in the Supporting Companies Sub-Forum. If you’re just posting them I think you could just start up a thread and get after it! I’d love more paperfolk to be involved in 9th Age! And/or post them in this thread! I want to connect 9th Age and the Paper Miniatures Wargaming community (the premier home of which is right here at Cardboard Warriors ), and a great way to do that is to discuss playing T9A with Paper on BOTH forums! Check out the Quickstarter Edition, the army lists for each faction are only 4-5 units, so they’re relatively easy to build up. And the units will factor into the core of a larger army for the full rules, should you choose to keep with it.

This. Sorry, my response above was a quick reply, so I didn’t actually link it. At the top of the page at the link posted above by marcpasquin go to “Forum” to start engaging with the community, or “Downloads” for rules and army books Enjoy!

Apparently this has existed for years, but it’s not an official part of 9th Age (yet?) so I never found it. It’s a 9th Age Skirmish/Warband Campaigner a la Mordheim. I’m about halfway through the rules, but what I’ve seen so far it’s definitely worth sharing. You do need a Dropbox account (free), but there are links in the 9th Age forums to pdf documents. I would just post the docs here but they’re updated fairly regularly, so this is better long-term. The files in the first post of the linked thread are kept updated to the current versions. The 9th Age: Skirmish Campaigns
Free rules are always a beautiful thing. Check it out!
