Hello everyone!
I'm new here, hi!
Aside from the Warhammer Townscape stuff that I put together in High School twenty-some-odd years ago, I haven't used paper terrain much in my games.
However, I'm running a one-off Halloween adventure, and I don't want to invest in buying or building 3D terrain stuff for the session. I don't really want to have to store something that I'll likely never ever use again, either, so I think that paper terrain might fit my needs perfectly.
However, I am almost completely unfamiliar with what's currently available for paper terrain, so I figured I'd sign up and just ask here.
The game will involve the players entering a dream world where they encounter an unseelie faerie haunted circus - basically the ghosts of forest spirits who were killed by invading goblinoid tribes.
So, I'm looking for dark faerie, haunted forest, and, ideally haunted circus terrain pieces.
I also need some generic medieval peasants & civilians.
Any suggestions or links to sources would be much appreciated!
Thank you,
-Alex in Alaska

Well, now I am really kicking myself for shelving the circus I was working on a long time ago. There are a lot of medieval peasants in Dryw's Imperfect Creations, onemonk.com/downloads.html . The forest is an issue that was recently discussed. Jim's Halloween Harvest set, onemonk.com/onemonk-dl.html , has a tree that works, but is somewhat tedious. My vardo is tedious, but there are easier ones mentioned in the thread, cardboard-warriors.proboards.com/thread/8232/vardos-caravans-roma-pavee-stuffThere are many resources here. Use the Search function to look up what you are looking for. I know there are faeries for instance and more medieval peasants and civilians. There are also many of the other things that a quick search can uncover. Also, if you have Gimp or other program, search for 'circus' and several old circus topics will come up. I really wish I'd done those circus wagons way back when....
