Maybe should have started over on the sleigh. I probably spent more time fixing this one than I would have taken starting over, but I liked the overall lines of it. Just had to round out the curves, and equalize widths, etc.
I'm going to try two versions. I want to see how the Ebbles Hummingbird version would be, just for curiosity's sake, but first I am going to do a version based off the Gilius Transport. To fit my vision of what I want it to look like, I reduced the transport to 80% for the second version of this. I tried adjusting the geometry and created more issues than I had to begin with, so now I am just reducing it. And it looks promising so far. We'll see.

I did narrow the body and swept the wings back. I think I ought to be able to do a test build tonight. Still needs some sort of engines and I think it needs skids to go under the runners. More detailing to do, also. I narrowed it by a quarter of an inch, and I want to see if it needs to be narrower. Just out of curiosity, I thought I'd see what it looks like with clouds instead of the blue

Not much time to work on this while I'm doing continuing education and certifications, but I've been struggling with propulsion units. I don't know if you've built this little gem, but I did the UPS version a while back and an aerial fire version (search and rescue), and the choices for engine placement isn't good. I'm leaning towards a three-engine configuration, think Tupolev Tu-154B-1, one on top, exhausting between the tails, and one on each outer side of the tails, with just image on the bottom to indicate anti-grav.
Either that or a wrap-around sci-fi looking arrangement

I had to take a break and see what the engine concept would look like. Based it off the Genet Utility Shuttle engines, but I think they will work. Also used the Millenium Falcon's drive for the 'aura'. I probably should move the engines to the wings page. As is, the middle engine is on the sides page, and the side engines are on the middle page, but I think they will all fit on the wings page, which almost makes sense

Did the test build during my CE webinar this AM. Windshield will be expanded so that the lower frame will be at the top of the front panel. The tail reindeer needs to be moved up slightly. The ion-discharge/exhaust needs to be a more contrasting color. Tabs changed on the horizontal tail wing. Will probably change the lower panel, though typically, it won't show. This model is a tail-sitter, so I put weight in the nose, but not enough to compensate for the tail engines. Might extend the runners/skid pads backwards further. EDIT-- For flying, it is too nose-heavy. Hmmm

Not sure I am going to be able to do the sleigh based off Christopher Roe's Hummingbird. Yeah, I know it is only the 6th, but it is looking doubtful. I still want to get back to the Citizen's Security Bank for the Procrastinators Hoard. I know this is a surprise, but I'm held up on the back stairs. Not sure why I always have a mental block on that. I also want to come up with MY version of Bessie, and the Edsel, to go with Rory's Jaguar. It's not a set unless there are three, right? And I have wanted to have a version of Fabrizio Prudenziati's 2000 Holiday Sleigh scaled for gaming. I found that getting it scaled correctly, I don't need to move anything on the page, however, it isn't set up for easy cutting, and there were an awful lot of artifacts that required cleaning. The interior of the sleigh is awkward, so there may be a slight redesign of it. Either way, it needs a cutting border. If I don't do a redesign, I'll not submit to the Hoard and just post the file in the forums. Here's where I'm at on the enlargement and cleaning Yes, there were a lot of smudges, blurs, bleed overs, etc., but the bulk of the graphics held up well to the enlargement. You can tell that there really needs to be cutting borders. That's what I'm going to concentrate on next

Had a mandatory webinar today and finished up formatting Zio's Sleigh.
