I'd love to see the Monty Python Black Knight done like this Several versions? ...in various 'states of repair'?

Or disrepair ... It's only a flesh wound!

Any creature in a barrel helm would work well with this technique, I think, given the Crooked Staff statues already have the head style required, but I'm intrigued by how well the orc WIP image looked too. Given the range of 3D paper minis created by Eddnic over the years that have a sometimes similar style, I suspect the possibilities for these minis too could be equally boundless.

Well I'm already half way there (I assume there is room in the madhouse? ).
Anyway ...here's a quick update:

Cryopods! That looks really good, sir. As much as I like your spin on Fantasy/Medieval themes, I would have to say that I really like your Sci Fi stuff.

Thanks As you probably know, I've not got a lot done on the sci-fi front yet ...but give it six months to a year, and I might actually be ready to run a particular themed game that I've been planning for quite some time now

Still a few things to experiment with yet - but here's a couple of prototypes for a dungeon well:

I'm definitely gonna have to give your models a try, they all look amazing! Out of curiosity do you have plans to make a set of traps?

There are a couple of things you could use as traps...
left: pit trap overlay / middle: cage trap / right: obvious fireball trap
But I don't have any immediate plans for spear/blade traps or similar ...but I might get around to something like that eventually.

Oh, and while this isn't the kind of thing you're looking for, I am planning on using the bottom left pic as a rotating trap (with each statue projecting a different magic effect once triggered (none of them good )

Those look really sweet! I've been watching some of your videos, it's crazy awesome the effects you get from simple everyday things!

Working on some techy-terminal type things: The idea is similar to the shelves video ...so it'll be a 7.5" strip that can be cut to different lengths. I think it should work

I don't know if you ever watched Killjoys, but I was thinking of going back through and getting images of some of the screens in it. Alien characters instead of keyboard characters. I like it when Johnny looks at one of those screens, points his finger at part, that is total gibberish and acts like the person he's showing it to is totally daft not to understand.
Star Wars had some of that, too. You might consider something other than English for part

I did watch the first couple of seasons of KJ. However, I have to admit that I'm being a little selfish and making most of this stuff for an 'aliens' games I'm planning ...as you might be able to tell (plus, when this stuff is printed out at miniatures scale, it's pretty hard to read anything anyway TBH ...though I am getting old, and it might just be my eyes )

My eyes are old, too, but even on the Chevy's I am working on, I keep being surprised at what detail doesn't get lost. I thought I might be wasting time fixing the Chevrolet emblem, but you can almost read it, and knowing what the car is, you 'read it' as 'Chevrolet'.
To be honest, I'd forgotten that an 'aliens' game was the goal... There's that old thing again

...I'd forgotten that an 'aliens' game was the goal... It's probably a bit more noticeable in the next panel that I've just finished up
