Want to see Antohammer's awesome paper miniature designs battle it out in the digital space against forces made up of my designs? Watch the Twitch Channel below tomorrow (12/13/20) at 4pm GMT and 8pm GMT (that's 11am and 3pm Eastern or 8am and Noon Pacific).
Some of Antohammer's lovely Ashigaru designs will be representing the 9th Age Faction - Kingdom of Equitaine in the 9th Age: Essence of War module for Tabletop Simulator. All brought to you by Veil of the Ages (both the developer of the mod, and the Head of the Essence of War Team at T9A)
NOTE: These games are part of the Faction-by-Faction playtesting of the Essence of War ruleset. After community members played and reported a battle between each of 5 initial Factions, an additional Faction was added. Then, when battles were played and reported with the original 5 matched against the new one, yet another Faction was added, and so on until all 19 Factions are available. Thus, Anto's designs are front and center for every match in this round of testing!
Game 1: Antohammer's Kingdom of Equitaine vs. my Dwarven Holds (Played by Ema and Kelvenmore from the 9th Age forums) Game 2: Anto's KoE vs. my Ogre Khans (Played by RHWorldbuilding (ME!) against my very own, real life brother, Epoch)
(and if you just can't wait, or are coming to this after the fact, there are plenty of previous streams at that link that you can watch at any time!)

Where do those western figures come from, Vermin King ? They are free. My post from "Paper Soldiers" FB group: ... "“I Protagonisti del West” ( English: “The Protagonists of the West” ). An Italian comic series. In my youth, in 1974, my dad gave me some western comics as a gift. A comic exclusively in black and white drawing. The stories were not fictional but American West characters’ biographies. Unfortunately, this series ended after less than a year, with only 10 issues published, due to the death of his author, Rino Albertarelli, one of the great masters of Italian comics. A second series was released in 1999. Truly horrible both as texts and as drawings. Absolutely not up to the original series. These characters are: First ( original and best ) series: George Armstrong Custer, Geronimo, Billy the Kid, Jedediah Smith, Sitting Bull, Wyatt Earp, Wild Bill Hickok, Frank M. Canton, Bill Doolin and Herman Lehmann. Second series: Davy Crockett, Red Cloud, Buffalo Bill, Cochise, Calamity Jane, Kit Carson, Jesse James, Butch Cassidy, Allan Pinkerton and Chief Joseph. Today my dear friend Antonio ( He is a very gifted guy who gets better from month to month. He deserves to be followed on his Patreon page: www.patreon.com/thelonelywargamer/posts) handed me two commissioned sets. Now I want to share these paper soldiers with you (You find them in the files section). They are the covers of those old comics ... Have a good day friends and colleagues." ...

Antonio likes to sneak sets out without notice. I found them on the gallery of paper soldiers group on the VK website on Dec 30th. great looking sets thanks to both of you! I read this excellent forum every day, this is my first forum, but for some time (a few years) I have participated a little less because my main interest has shifted to historical paper figures (whether they are paper soldiers 54/50 mm high or 28/32 mm paper minis). 1 - I believe there is little interest here for historical figures but if I'm wrong I would be delighted to share my material with all of you who are interested (no copyright infringement or pirated copies) 2 - Last Christmas (Christmas 2019) Antonio designed for me, as paper soldiers (therefore in 54 mm height), a set about US sailors during the Second World War. More precisely a WW2 U.S. Navy Landing Party. I think this set is very beautiful. Also distributed free by Antonio. I will ask Antonio to make them available again. 3 - These instead are the photograph of the author, Rino ALBERTARELLI, of the first series of "The Protagonists of the West" ( 1974 ) and some covers of the two comic series ( 1974 and 1999 ), from which Antonio started for these last two paper soldiers' sets.

I love historical miniatures! Been playing all kinds for years but there is a noticeable lack of historical paper minis, so I make do. These are awesome as usual!!I was really excited when Antohammer was planning that world war 2 kickstarter a couple years ago, but that never happened. Those mini he previewed looked great!!
