Okay, I fell for the Carnevale skirmish game by TTCombat, and even though the 2-player-starter-set already contains 16 fold-flat houses and a couple of bridges (basically just neat boxes and a few tiles), I think I need more terrain. However, I don't want to put money in any of those MDF buildings, no matter how gorgeous they look. Instead, I'd like to put cardboard terrain onto my gaming table, and of course it should be fold-flat, so I can store everything in the same box. So, I found this really nice little Venetian house available over at Papermau's, but my new anti-virus software does not want to let me download it. Could someone take it and put it somewhere else so I might perhaps download it from there? Also, does anyone of you know where to find more buildings, especially bridges? I already have the sets by oonirico.com and just need to scale them to the correct size... Any suggestions?

It's not your anti-virus software, the model is in a google drive folder that requires permission to access. I hit the request access button and I'll let you know if anything comes of it.

Many thanks! However, my AVS does not even allow me there. I simply get a pop-up message that the linked website might contain malware/viruses and is blocked to keep my system safe. It's pretty much like when you take away the 27th candy from older kids: They know you're protecting their health, yet they just want that candy...

Yeah, I can see that my AVS might think this to be a problem...

shep if you have assassins creed 2 on pc you can make screenshot of the house while going around venice and then cut and print them only my suggestion Generally, that's a great idea. However, all my Assassin's Creed games are on the XBox360 with no option to snap usable screenshots... (and I won't buy the game a second time, just so I can snap pics for paper buildings ) Nonetheless, thanks for the idea, Antohammer.

Had the question come up a month ago, I could have helped. I had a whole section of my now defunct hard drive with Venice models I'd picked up, mostly Epinal models or other Vintage pieces. I think I had seven versions of gondolas, a few bridges, San Marcos, the Palazzio, etc. Mauther used to have an Assassins Creed building, too.
But they are all gone to the Blue Page of Death...

the whole venetian thing actually sounds like an interesting project the more I think about it. You get a cityscape with fairly complex decorative patterns. I saw "spiderman far from home" recently on AppleTV so this might give me an excuse to rewatch the Venetian scenes.

I did not expect that, but Google actually sent people walking through Venice and cruising along the canals to get the images for their street view... Great idea, marcpasquin!

Maybe you do find a way to recover the data??!? Or at least remember where you found the models...
