I hope that someone can use the idea. I have a couple ideas for the hoard, but they aren't coming together well, and starting Monday, things are going to be so hectic until mid-December, I'm not sure any of my ideas are going to pan out. I'm already separating ideas into 'Might be able to get done' and 'save for later'. I'm down to wanting to do a Terror Bird and a jungle buggy. Nothing using the reflection idea, but I can't help but think that the reflection base is a good idea

Thanks. dont worry man i ll do better this evening after work i ll do a pdf ... so this way it will be simpler to print becouse i do the miniatures very big in piantnet and then i resize them in microsoft publisher ..... this gorilla is very big... i think he has to be around 20% of total height to be printed well... you can anyway resize him less and have a kingkong miniature

becouse i do the miniatures very big in piantnet and then i resize them in microsoft publisher ..... O.O My friend, you should really consider getting Gimp. It would make life so much easier for you. Gimp is free and open source, and is the preferred tool by the majority of artist in here, even more so than Photoshop.

I love mesper 's tree lady and Vermin King 's reflective bases are a briliant idea. This is going to be a great hoard! Has anyone else played around with making reflections? I am finding it harder than it looks. Not hard to do the reflection, but the ripples, distortions and the odd glint are not going well. I might create my own algae-covered swamp texture and avoid reflections altogether...

One thing that bothers me is the lack of rainforest trees (don't use 'amazon' in your search) If you look at Home School projects on the Rainforest, there are a lot of good things related to the various layers in the jungle. And if you look at just 'rainforest trees species' there are a number of photos of the wide-based trees with the roots sticking out I might try to get a six-sided tree done, with root/buttressy things sticking out, and a slide-down leaf layer like in the first image, only halfway between the simple leaves in it and realistic leaves. Unless someone else wants to jump on this project... Also, the jungle needs some brushy plants to machete your path through EDIT -- since these trees are smooth barked, and brush could be fern-like, I took a number of photos of my mimosa's bark and foliage. I picture the root/buttresses as being printed on regular paper, so that they can have interesting curves. I'm almost thinking I have time to do this

I'm working on a tree and some rocky outcroppings with moss and brush growing in the cracks. I have some actuala free time this weekend and with the TT project wrapping up I should be able to actually work on this.

Vermin King Will the submerged buggy also come with a driver sitting on the roof and crying?

Only if someone else does it. I considered doing natives wading and carrying off tires

I found some nice trees here; pngriver.com/?s=jungleI'm doing a little extra research on the images I want use as pngriver states that everything is free to use with no attribution as they don't own the copyright to anything...bit sketchy that.

Sadly, I won't get "The Jungle" night club ready till the end of the month. There's just too much going on in RL... Real life often gets in the way of my hobbies and fun. So I can understand. I hope things settle down in such a way that you find both peace and happiness.
