Around February 2019, I set up Papercraft Gaming Wiki, along with mproteau (Paper Realms) and a few other interested cardboard creators. It's still a long way away from the vision we have for it, as we've only really been working on it as a side project, but never-the-less, it's time to let the world know about it so that other interested parties can get involved if they'd like to!
A searchable and browsable index of paper minis that are available out in the wild.
This is in place, and currently has a large portion of the Kev's Lounge minis in it, primarily because I was the one setting it up. It is however open to everyone who does paper minis, and if you'd like to contribute to it, I've set up some instructions on how to add an entry to the paper minis index. If you aren't actually a paper miniature publisher, but would still like to be involved, you're also welcome! There are many publishers who are no longer active in the community, and active publishers who do not have time to post their own stuff, and volunteers willing to take care of getting their stuff into the index would be doing the entire papercrafting community a massive favour!
Preview of the index
A useful reference section full of "How to" articles covering basic and advanced techniques of papercrafting and kitbashing
The idea with this section is to have a community created resource that details all the useful stuff that people should know when they're crafting in paper. Basic techniques like scoring, cutting and gluing. Discussions on the pros and cons of various tools. Techniques for kitbashing using Photoshop. Advice for using automated cutters. That sort of thing! Unfortunately this section is still more-or-less bare, as none of us involved have had the time to give it the attention that it requires, but if any of you would like to get involved, this is another place where you could help!
If you have any questions, or would like to get involved, feel free to shout below!
There are a few key things we want to achieve with this wiki, parts of which we've already begun implementing. The two main ones are:
