I love those, very Traveller-esque.

The first link does not work for me, but the templates look nicely complex...

I actually had and built several models from Dennis' booklets. He was giving them out at a GenCon, nice to see someone remembered him.

More progress, might be done, feels like a few flaps are missing so it's time for a test-build. I think I need to mod up some landing struts.

Aren't there some flaps too many?

Just think of the extra flaps as using the Fabrizio Prudenziati method where sometimes you have to glue tabs together instead of gluing the tab to a different part

Pretty sweet. Do you anticipate any scaling up issues?
Great colors and precise build. Very nice

Interesting little model, I'd kind of like to scale it up by about 150% so that it would fit in better with current model scale standards. This is absolutely awesome! I had not expected it to come together this great. Wow! About scaling, thought of putting it on a larger sheet of paper and having it printed for a few bucks? This way, everything would scale-up neatly, and you don't have to split the model onto several pages.

You probably know this, but for any newbies that happen by: It sometimes works to run "sharpen" (AKA "Unsharp mask) on images you scale up if they start to get fuzzy.

It looks like the author was designing for 25mm minis, which would make sense for a game (Star Frontiers) from the 1980's before mini scales ballooned, so scaling it down to 15mm (80%?) would be really easy. I'd use lighter paper (80lb) instead of the 110lb stock I used for this build as some of those flaps would get pretty unwieldy at a smaller scale. Also, I forgot to say, I cut off those big grey flaps on the outside of the cockpit insert as they made the fit difficult, probably because of the heavy paper stock, and proved to be unneccessary.
