Interesting little model, I'd kind of like to scale it up by about 150% so that it would fit in better with current model scale standards.
This is absolutely awesome! I had not expected it to come together this great. Wow!
About scaling, thought of putting it on a larger sheet of paper and having it printed for a few bucks? This way, everything would scale-up neatly, and you don't have to split the model onto several pages.
It looks like the author was designing for 25mm minis, which would make sense for a game (Star Frontiers) from the 1980's before mini scales ballooned, so scaling it down to 15mm (80%?) would be really easy. I'd use lighter paper (80lb) instead of the 110lb stock I used for this build as some of those flaps would get pretty unwieldy at a smaller scale.
Also, I forgot to say, I cut off those big grey flaps on the outside of the cockpit insert as they made the fit difficult, probably because of the heavy paper stock, and proved to be unneccessary.
stoff: These are the versions that i was talking about.
