Ok! So I guess this is where I should post stuff. I've got about a million ideas for different sets, but need to work out a problem I'm having first - whenever I create files, they never seem to look the same when printed out. The color typically has a 'washed out' look to it. I'm not sure if the problem is on my printer's end, but it seems unlikely - I print all sorts of things from different creators all the time, and they seem to line up just fine. So, any recommendations on how to fix this issue would be greatly appreciated. Here's a 'Tall Man' in the meantime. EDIT: ugh, and saving him as a jpeg did him no favors. >_< I usually use .png or .pdf to print, for what it's worth~

Here's another Head Eater, will likely be included in a 'King's Field' set once I get my bearings~

No problem, happy to share! I've certainly nabbed enough hoards here over the years, that it's past due for me to give something back! And yeah, I think the Head Eater was a png. I just saved the Tall Man as a jpeg on a whim, and the compression kind of crapped on the gradient I used on his face, apparently. -_-

Here's a 'Despair Bear' I drew some years ago - just colored it today. Got a whole folder of line art I drew that needs similar tlc~ (btw, his name/concept is a riff on the old 'Care Bears', for anyone old enough to remember )

Here's something for the Christmas hoard, assuming it's still open for submissions~ (tbh - I haven't read too much into submission guidelines as I type this, will do so right after I post this, hah! )

All of the Hoards are open for anything. The topics are there to focus attention and inspire creativity, but we do not reject anything because it doesn't fit with the Hoard theme.
It would have been odd, but if this fellow were submitted to the Jungle Hoard, he would be good. He does need a base, though

Ah, just saw this - thanks for the heads up!
I'll get on making bases for each of these guys (as well as reposting Tall Man as a .png) as soon as I can tomorrow. Gettin' late on my side of reality, coming up on 3:00am... ~_~
EDIT: one more thing - I thought I saw somewhere that I shouldn't attach tabs to figures...? Just curious!

Attaching base tabs is good
Generally, you want the title of the figure on one side of the tab, and the creator's name on the other.

Here we go - the ones I posted so far w/ tabs, as well as an extra; I drew the dwarf for a friend's pen/paper character. Bases are coming soon as well! EDIT: There - now with bases!

Thanks, glad you guys like em'! The quality should improve as I get to cut my teeth a bit more - besides the King's Field minis I initially posted, these here are my first foray into making paper minis! I also have some mods I did of a few WWG pieces, some store stalls from the Mayhem Mega Mall set, if anyone is interested! (though, was a bit unsure on whether or not that's a gray area, seeing as they'd be considered 'kitbashes'...? Please inform!)

WWG was pretty strict about how kit-bashes of their products were released or shared and their minions still haunt the web looking for infractions, best if you just show pictures of them and keep the model files to yourself.

WWG was pretty strict about how kit-bashes of their products were released or shared and their minions still haunt the web looking for infractions, best if you just show pictures of them and keep the model files to yourself. Gotchya! I figured that was most likely the case. I'll try to get some pics up at some point then. Off the top of my head, the shops I made were: The Stuff (like that old 'living yogurt' flick), American Chicken Bunker (from a Troma movie), The Mexican (also Troma), McDonald's, Dungeons & Dorks (a D&D hobby shop, obviously), Coinmunchers Arcade, and.... Maybe some others..? Have to check. Besides those, there are quite a few more that are stock WWG stalls, as well as some more kit-bashes from other designers. I made the place without walls, as I use it to play AFMBE semi-frequently with my daughter and her friends. EDIT: I figure the textures I made would be fair game, assuming anyone wanted/needed them for similar designs of their own... I'll probably get around to redesigning original models myself at some point anyways, but the offer stands if anyone is interested after I've shown them~

Ok, here's a shot of some minis I colored (wouldn't really say I made them, as the art isn't mine at all) and based, taken from 8 different archetypes within various AFMBE (All Flesh Must Be Eaten) sourcebooks. They're originally black and white, so I had to cut em' out, design a layout for making them into minis, color them, yada yada... Behind them is the food court area of my mall for gaming. So far... that's all there is to the 'mall', though my young players get up to enough shenanigans in this small area alone. So, it has sufficed thus far. A place no one should ever eat, American Chicken Bunker: Here's the Gamemaster character, located in his workplace, Dungeons & Dorkery: A place protected by The Toxic Avenger, The Mexican Place: And an arcade full of old-school games:

I was thinking the Blues Brothers and Chicago's finest should cruise through there

Thanks! Basically the way I run (one-shot) games with it, is to allow the players to pick where/why they are in the food court, and depending on where they go, different things happen - chicken zombies for American Chicken Bunker, people getting addicted to/turning into 'yogurt drones' if they go to The Stuff, colorful and vocal assailants if they go to The Mexican Place, etc. Once an 'event' has been activated, the others are just places to go... It gets pretty ridiculous. Sometimes they just cause random mayhem with no need to go to these places. For example, one of the last times we played, a girl hacked up somebody and tried to cook them in the deep fryer. (She was playing as the Escaped Mental Patient, so it seemed to fit the bill~) Another player robbed McDonald's, and started attacking people with thrown hamburgers - he knocked one NPC unconscious with them. And I think the Blues Brothers could fit right in here; honestly, just about any modern/near-future character could. If I ever get the time/patience to finish the place, it could be even better!

Oh, and I'll probably be AWOL the next few days - working on a set (several actually, but focusing on one in particular that I believe I can finish semi-expediently) and that'll obviously eat up most of my time. I shall return~!

Thanks, I'm happy you guys like em'! If anyone wants the textures for any of those that I made in particular (minus any WWG stuff, obviously), be sure to let me know! Also, I was hoping to finish my project by Christmas, but then Christmas happened - so that put a damper on that idea! I should be able to post something about what I've been working on... soon-ish. That's as specific as I'll get for now! XD

I've got about 70 some-odd miniatures made and printed that need cutting out, I have a few simple buildings to finish designing with the possibilities of making part of one into a dice tower, and I'm trying to figure out if I want to include transparencies in the project or not... That's where my Wednesday has me, presently. I'll try to post a little teaser of what I'm working on later today if possible, hopefully ya'll will get a kick out of what I'm making.

Ok, so here's what I've got so far - a piece of a broken wall (finished, minus a few 'notices' I plan on gluing to it), and a 'fold test' for the other building which I'm currently finishing up textures for. A few of the minis scattered around should give a big clue what the set's theme is, if the other pieces don't... I'll make sure to post more as I finish it! XD

OK, SO - I've finally finished my little project (albeit, partially), and have more to share. Given the time it's taken me to get it done, I'll likely put the rest of the area I'd planned on hold until my printer issue is resolved (and that's the main reason it's taken so long anyhow). Here it is, in all its glory - the Matin Garage. The participants, hopefully they need no introduction: An overall shot of the action: A little closer: The Matin garage and surroundings: Hopefully you guys like it! I have a few kinks to iron out in the wall's design, but I'll bundle it all up in a pdf once I get around to fixing it. Also, I plan on doing 'action' minis for each character at some point, so it doesn't look like everyone is just standing around. Feedback is appreciated!

A Castlevania themed phone case I designed (posted in shout box, but it vanished for some reason lol) Just wish they didn't cut the bible verse off at the bottom, it fits the character/picture perfectly, I believe: "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." - Joshua 24:15

Is that the Double Dragon video game?

Is that the Double Dragon video game? You bet! I had intended to do 'mission 1' in its entirety, but that may have to be put off until I can get my printer fixed... Currently, my next step was to design the building that was directly behind the Matin garage (w/ recessed windows, similar to the door), then do the following building that Abobo busts through the wall at. That would pretty much just leave the alley and small building at the end there. I'd planned on making some weapons as well, especially since I'll need oil drums for that particular section. Besides that, I've already made most of the characters from the games (often with several versions of each, as they changed across gaming platforms), including a plethora of palette swaps for each - I have Williams, Rowper, Abobo, Linda, Jeff, Gibson, Robinson, Billy, and Jimmy... As well as Abobo's head swapped alter egos, O'Hara, Bolo, and Jick. I just started doing characters from Double Dragon 4 too. Gonna take me forever to cut all these guys out. ~_~

To give ya'll an idea of what I mean when I say "I may die of old age before I finish cutting these out" - there are 71 minis here that I haven't even touched yet. Besides these, I still have about 10 stacks of different characters I scored/glued, but still need to cut out and edge. If anyone wants some of these knuckleheads, they are ready to be posted - just let me know! Otherwise, I planned on posting them incrementally with their respective game/area sets as I finish them.
