I think I'm done? If you see any mistakes let me know. I'll submit her in 3 or 4 days with the techs and I may have a second female civilian in a dress. I have to tweak the backs on the techs and add some numbers to them. Well be gentle with her...she has a big wrench after all.

How's the mechanic going? I was really hoping that people would have come up with more along the lines of 'potential victims' or the doctors, nurses, etc. that were mentioned several times on the site. Mechanics and Techies are good, though. I sure would have liked to have seen the tentacled old lady on the scooter, though ... sigh I've been goofing off and playing games instead of working on this. The girl needs a lot of work. It really is just an early WIP shot. Half the lab workers are uninfected, but it's just one pose. I will try and add some individuality to them.

Wow! A lot of people will be jumping for this great action. Is there a specific reason for doing this? Is it a prelude for something else? Oh no! .......Does...does this mean he has bought a 3D printer?!

Tommygun, expect a visit from armed Umbrella Corporation lawyers looking for the negatives of the pictures you took in Raccoon City. But the infection came from me.

I did these several months ago, but never posted them, as I wasn't happy with them. They are about half photoshoped from a real photo and half drawn in Gimp. After touching them up a bit more they are OK now. I can include these in this month hoard if you guys want them. Lab Techs Gone Wild

Very nice, I like that you do figures that other arts may overlook. How about a sheepdog and wolf pack or even a wolf in sheep's clothing?

I did the Door module, but it will have to wait for a new ink cartridge. Balconies are next.

Amazing, now I'll try to add some crenelations to a Pringles can. Then these towers will really shine on the table! I meant to do that and a little mini tower coming from the side, but I was too lazy to do it. At some point I would like to do some stairs on the outside and a round pointy roof, but I'm in no rush. Feel free to mod it all you want.

I turned the original template into an alpha mask and then prepared several textures from CG Textures. Then I just dropped the mask onto the textures and added details like doors and windows. It was about two short evenings of work.

I can look into adding different textures. You'll have to test build it as I'm very low on ink again. Alignment would be a bigger issue with stone blocks, but if you don't mind it a bit irregular I can put it together much quicker. I do have another project to finish up first.

I think I will have to learn to accept the gap. Moving things around ultimately only moves the gap to a different spot on the model. I'll do a model with a door next and then figure out where to add slots for bobby pins. Three slots on the bottom of the long sides and two on the narrow sides should do it. Just need to determined the exact spacing.

Like this, so it forms a triangle? At least I wouldn't have to glue it and alignment wouldn't be as critical as the bracket I was thinking about. Attachments:

Prototype done. It's a bit larger than I thought it would be. There are two problems: 1) The gap on the side (See Photo below). I can't do much about the gap and still be collapsible. 2) The roof needs support. It won't support minis very well as is. There are some miscellaneous items that need tweaking too. I'm thinking of adding chipboard as well.

I think these are great little characters and would be even better as a set. They should have a queen though maybe a shaman too.

Just take it one day at a time and focus on the problem right in front of you. You may have twelve other things flying around you, but block them out for the moment and try to gain some progress on that one problem for now, then move onto the next.

I have used that E6000 glue on paper models and it worked quite nicely and is flexible. It's a lot like rubber cement. Just was thinking it may be a good kids project. Maybe something for a pool?
