I've got a whole universe to draw here.. I hope you have a really big continuous ink system then.

Will this first sheet be all heros? A Ming the Merciless type would be great...and his evil daughter.

I can't change the color on most of the gradients, but I think I can control the transparency level of the glare marks. I think that will help it look more gray.
I prefer the diagonal ones. The one I like the best is 11, but that only works in red and I think I'll go with just white, as it is more generic.
So no one like the curtains? I'm afraid the windows will be too plain looking without them. I'll leave them in until I do the test build to see how they look.

Hello, quick question. Does anyone know of a plastic or vinyl that is compatible with an ink jet printer? I had this random idea today of designing a printable sail boat that you could but in water.

Transparent masks for use with Gimp and Photoshop. These are for adding your own ground textures. Just cut and paste them onto the texture you want.

Looks interesting. The card has enough info on it to give it some depth without looking too complex. If you make the card a sandwich fold, maybe you could write him a short bio to add a little background to him. I think it help to bring the characters to life.

It has raised walkways, stairs and six elevators. It might have some multipurpose rooms, but no lobby that I know of. It's a very complex structure and a bit hard to wrap your brain around.

Some of the units are split level. Here are some of the other stacking patterns. My idea would allow the builder to use them as individual buildings on the ground or connected together as a larger single story unit or stacked several stories tall. I do have Topos Stuff, but I think I want to give the match box idea a try and see if it will be viable. I do deign all my buildings to be made with heavy 110Lb paper and sometimes re-enforced with chipboard. So I hope the walls and roofs will be straight enough. I will also be gluing a few 1 cent coins to the floors for added weight.

This is an idea I have been thinking of for a while. I would like to make a modular "Habitat 67" type of a building in 28mm. My version will be smaller and simpler. I want it to break down for storage as well and this is what I have in mind. Each module will be made as an unsupported rectangular box, a bit like a match stick box for matches. When the roof and floor piece is inserted into the wall piece, they will support themselves, but fold flat for storage. Two of the modules will then be held together with bobby pins in an offset letter "T" shape (almost an "L" shape). Then they can be stack on top of each other to form multistory buildings. The balconies will be separate pieces and not be fold-able. Assembly of a module. Stacking pattern of the modules. Habitat 67

Just wondering, could the PNG files without the text also be used as SciFi cargo Boxes? I'm asking because I was thinking you should do a set of modern and future cargo items like you did for fantasy.

I notice the Terra Force troops seemed to be more like 32mm scale to eye level than the 30mm stated. My space suited figure are a little hard to judge scale as their suits are large and puffy with big boots, but I try to get 30mm scale.

If you need larger ones, you can always re-texture them for a larger scale. Although you will then need to rearrange them to fit a page after enlarging. It's workable with a few days of photoshopping.

Very nice work. Ever though about using a digital camera to do stop motion type photography? With those pose able figures, you could do a little mini movie. I think you just need a cable to run to your computer and some free software.
...well and the time to do it.

I think few people are truly color blind. Most people I believe with this condition have trouble distinguishing between similar colors like light purple and light blue. They see colors, but they look different to them. If you make each color a different level of brightness (or shading) as well as a different color, even a totally color blind person, I think, should be able to see the different levels of shading. It's like looking at a gray scale chart.

Once you build the first building they come together pretty fast. They are basically just boxes. The bigger ones are reenforced with chip board or cereal boxes. I understand if you don't have the room. I think the fort could be used to help display the fantasy figures? Whatever you want to do or not is fine.

I would be curious to see it too. I'm thinking about doing a small modular set up of that "Habitat 67" building and I need a way to hook it all together. Attachments:
