Just had a random idea. Dice for zombie based games. You can determine what kind of zombies (Fast or slow moving), how many and how they behave. Even a random movement generator with arrows on it.

You might be going in this direction already, but maybe something to help with solo playing a skirmish game. A way to model the "enemy's" actions. You may have to customize these a bit to a specific game system. Something compatible with Infinity or Warmachine without using any terms that are intellectual property. At least do separate ones for modern and fantasy based generic skirmish games. I wounder if you could couple the dice to a branching decision making tree?

Utah...for some reason I thought you guys were based in Australia. It would be fun to come, but that's a long ways from the central coast of California. Are you looking to show off the commercial stuff or just anything interesting?

If you want the minis to have a broad usage, maybe draw them with modern civilian clothing. This would cover most of the 20th century to the near future. Although medieval clothing would also cover all of fantasy.

Well, I have put about 10 grand into 40k over the years, so I don't need the paper stuff myself. I need a spare room just to store it. I think there is some gray area on this. I have built several GW models completely from scratch out of plastic. I'm sure corporate lawyers at GW wouldn't want me doing that. Making plastic copies of GW's models is a very common thing over at Warseer. Even a few paper tanks there too. Making cast of minis and giving them away would be wrong, but if you are recoloring photos you took yourself, I'm not sure. Although if these are GW's own photographs, then that's another matter too. It is something to think about. At what point do you draw the line.

Take care David. A few months ago I had an issue myself. Nothing life threatening, but perhaps life altering. Just go do what you need to do. -Tom.

There is a lot of stuff on that site. I just notice today there is also Eldar 2D Flats in the same style as the Marines. There could be more in the SciFi area.

I just bought a 2 terabyte external drive today. Jeeminy!!! How much does something like that cost? With all the graphics work you do, I suppose you need a lot more than I do. Wow They're not too bad. About $99 for 2 TB, $79 for 1 TB and $50 for 500GB. So I just went for the 2 TB one. I shouldn't be spending that much, but some data you just don't want to lose and I'm sick of backing up with 15 DVDs. All those DVD start to add up after a while too.

These are the Alpha Masks for the Circles and Hexes. With a Photoshop type program, you can just do a cut and paste of these onto a full page texture of your choice. You can find full page textures in the One Monk bases resources area. onemonk.com/Bases.html

The only way I know how to do it is with a photo editing software. In Gimp you can pick the black color (with the Color Tool) and next do a copy then paste to a new blank page.

I just bought a 2 terabyte external drive today. I'm going to back up my whole hard drive, as it's getting a little "hinky". I may use the left over space to back up the Library of Congress.

Here are the circle ones on grass. I did make up an Alpha Mask of these so I can just drop these onto any texture I need. I can make the Alpha Mask available if anyone needs it? I'll do the other shapes later. For 60mmfor 80mm

I'll see if I can make a few big grass bases in 60mm and 80mm in the next few days. I'll do the round ones first and then try a square, hex and octagon next.

Well, the square and pill cavalry/motorcycle bases are 25mm x 75mm. Not quite the same, but they may work?
You could also scale a 50mm base at 160% to get an 80mm base. At least you'll have something to work with until a proper set shows up.
Is there a specific shape and ground type you need? I may be able to make a few I can post here.

That's exactly how I did mine. I did do the arms and weapons separate, but I'm sure you must do that too.
