Hi, folks. I recently got Mel Ebbles's GunCrawl And the BugHunt Mini mods and converted them to 15mm. Had an old beat up magnetic bulletin board and a couple of packs of Staples brand Magnetic Gloss Photo Sheet. Been wanting to try out some magnetic stuff so this was a perfect opportunity. Printed out the GunCrawl tiles on the magnetic sheets. They stick great to the magnetic board, don't move around once you place them and look pretty good when you print them. Also really easy to cut with either craft knife or scissors. Then printed the modified BugHunt GunCrawl minis and GunCrawl doors on photo paper. Based the minis on 1/2 inch round magnets with OneMonk Bloody Sci-Fi base texture. Also used off-cuts from the magnetic photo sheets to base the GunCrawl Doors. They hold in place nicely, even upside down. Thank you Jim and Mel for such cool minis and terrain. ;D Here's some pics:
Magnet sheet: this is what I used for the tiles.
Magnet board 1:
Magnet Board Upright: Everything stuck to it and holding on fine.
Auxilliary Troops: I desaturated and changed lighting on some of the Terra Force Aux troops so they'd fit in better with the Bug Hunt troops, but didn't change them to Camo (didn't know how and wanted them to stand out more anyway).
BugHunt Terra Force Riflemen
Heavy Weapons Guys
Some Rebel Minis 15mm Hunters - they fit in well, maybe using Guncrawl tiles as a secret lab where they're experimenting with Werewolves
And so the next pic - 15mm Rebel Mini Werewolves
And what's a bughunt without the bugs?
Thanks for looking .
