OK, so I shared this as well as my trials and tribulations in scaling and assembly. But finally, Ma, Pa, and Whiney-butt have made it to their vacation in the woods! I have gone ahead and resorted to my usual method of making wheels, which is to disregard the paper wheels that come with the kit and replace them with plastic wheels from toy cars.

Have you ever tried using chalk dust for weathering? I've seen it used many times on paper models, though I have never used it myself

Have you ever tried using chalk dust for weathering? I've seen it used many times on paper models, though I have never used it myself I handle mine too much. Some paint and a toothbrush is my go-to, but I prefer to weather it in GIMP.

I think you have to at least dust it with clear coat afterwards
