Hello curious adventurer! I suppose I would like to present my projects here. To showcase to you lovely folk. I finished my first build and I'm hooked! It's Tommygun's airship available at onemonk.com My eternal gratitude for making that available Sinjoro Squirmy. I hope my homage does justice. I am a massive fan of steampunk, so this was a dream. Better photos to come (I hope, but it's getting late: I'm just so proud I need to show it off) To hint at my next job, likely weeks out at my pace: I arise in a house I don't remember laying down in. Four roofs above my head, yet without a single wall. My joints creek as I step outside, to a land of finest powder.

Nice model! And a poetic teaser? This could be the beginning of a beautiful bromance.

And so the legion rises... Saluton again. This was my first foray into making actual Cardboard Warriors! These are the Undead Spearman from Mr. Antohammer's line of minis. I'm very excited to begin fleshing out armies. I collect everything. Bit of a history lesson here... I started with Tomb Kings way back in -err some time ago, and I LOVED them. But Age of Sigmar did what Age of Sigmar does and it actually obsolesced my entire faction. Bummed as my local dried up of 8e and I eventually sold my TK army (buh-mer). Years go by and I finally hear of Kings of War. But no minis, what to do?! Now I'm a bit of a hippie and owning all that plastic was starting to weigh on my soul. And then I saw paper minis. A month of digging through the internet later and here I am happy as the lord of literally tens of minions. But the force will grow. Oh will it grow... Huge thanks to Mr. Antohammer. I'm an infinite fan! Matching up the front and back was a bit tough for me but practice makes perfect eh? I did that thing where I print on printer paper and stuck a piece of cardstock between. (turns out my 110# cardstock is more than my 75# -capable printer can handle) Well, see you next time I suppose. I'm already tinkering with ways to modify the next wave of minis. I think I hear thunder... Ĝis la revido!

Where is the obelisk from?

Oh, excuse me; I had forgotten! The obelisk used here is from Fat Dragon Games' line. It is in their Desert Adventures set.
I must admit I don't do it justice here. In general I like to print terrain directly onto cardstock while I put my minis on printer paper then back them with some cardstock. To save space, I absentmindedly printed it onto a paper with Units on it as well, using the normal printer paper. So it is quite fiddly and not exactly what I wanted, but it looks fine here and will be redone "proper" in the future. Humorously, I intended for it to be base details! You could say I misjudged its mass.
Finally the backdrop is a beach near me. It is a little chunky and full of detritus, but I think it serves the job just fine and will be used for this whole project.

Weeeeeeell, it has been a hot minute since I had teased my last project and things are not moving quite as rapidly. There was a pitfall in my cavalry design and then a move so now I have to find them. In the meanwhile! Mr. Antohammer just released some awesome wild west stuff at the behest of another Mr. Giorgio and I took a crack at that. This is a rough first attempt at the set. One thing I tried out here is inspired by Mr. Kris from Crooked Staff (his YouTube video on sacks gives the gist). I took a bunch of little scrunched up balls of paper and white glue to stuff the 2.5D rock that I made. My general review is: does it look nice and is it worth the effort, here it is a yes for both. My little hang up on the 2.5D rock is the seams are a bit pinched.
