And a Wayside Shrine from Papierschnitzel: I've got a page of Star Trek standees to do that I printed (albeit poorly, my new printer has smaller maximum margins than my old one did and a whole row of guys lost the tops of the back of their heads) but after that I want to get back to painting metal and plastic miniatures for a while.

What kind of printer did you get? It is easier to adjust margins on some printers than others

OK, I think that's enough for tonight. I've got 14 standees cut out and edged, with 10 left to go. And then making the bases, which is a beast of a different color. But my hands hurt since I don't use a cutting machine. Hopefully I'll follow up more on Monday.

I changed my mind. With my wIfe showing no sign of going to bed and finding myself bored of World Of Warcraft, I finished cutting and edging the rest of them.

Project list is up-ended. My grandson is staying with me next weekend, so I thought some Jara Jara Races may be in order

I would really like to do the whole thing for the Jara Jara Bird Racing, but I was wondering about the dice.
Has anyone ever done paper dice? Do you fill them with something to make them more stable?

Not a case of 'print it and you are ready to go' Tabs are not standardized. I am going to make a sheet of 50cm bases that 'match' the track. The way the track is laid out, the racers will not fit in the movement boxes. Doubling the size will not quite solve the issue, and it turns the 2-page track into 8 pages. My thought is to make the bases with a line that should line up with the front of the box the racer moves to. Without a line, and not 'fitting' in a box, there could be questions as to where the bird actually is sitting. My other thought was to put stars on the base, under the head, to indicate which box the racer is 'occupying'. Or I could make the bases and either hand draw the line or stars. I'd rather turn this into a game someone could just print up and use EDIT -- For myself and my grandson, I decided having the names of the racers above the tabs would be best, so I did a bit of adjustment. I also was concerned that A4 printing would lop off noses and tails, so I consolidated the racers towards the center. For the bases, I used the 25X50mm Pill bases from the Downloads, www.onemonk.com/bases.htmlI textured with the racetrack texture from the middle of Track #1 as it was a middle of the road texture. I also made the front of the base have a thick black line to line up the racers. This ends up having a second line farther down, which I would hope will line up with the grid lines as the racers move down the track. Since there are six racers, I only needed six bases Should give a bit more margin room. I had planned on having these printed at Staples. They have an exceptional card stock and I had hoped to print the track on adhesive paper. But of course, their two printers for doing this are down. So I will be printing at home.

Going to let these dry and then re-edge, give them another shot of Clear Coat and glue together. Just going to use regular dice

Well, I still haven't done the bases for my Star Trek standees, but I did some ruined walls from Dave Graffam for a game of Forbidden Psalm tomorrow night:
