I used to use Illustrator years ago, I think around version 7. I have version 11, and even have a cool filter plugin thing called, Shinycore-Path Styler Po. You can make all sorts of textures and bevels, and cool metal effects etc. Sometimes I'll just create this stuff In Illustrator and export it as a tiff for using in Canvas, my design tool of choice for the past few years. Thanks for the tip. I use Illustrator a lot, often transporting to Photoshop. As this tool is available for both, I think that's the route I'd go, if I were to get it.
