Just fantastic mind blowing stuff!!! I may just doubled the amount of buildings to print and mount now. Where I'll put these? Put the links to these in your webpage (nice webpage btw.) so that I can refer them to my friends and share the load of making so many props... Lack of knowledge of the English language has never stopped Americans from looking stupid. They couldn't be much worse than most of us. ;D

I've built the Gate house, Piety Tower, Clock Tower, Scrivers Shop, Townhouse and Butchers shop.
~ With the Piety and Clock Tower I added internal support structures about midway up to help prevent cardstock warping (over time).
~ With the Scriveners Shop I added a triangular roof tab for the roof to sit on where it mounts against the house wall.
~ With all the models so far I've added Base tabs on all walls for them to mount sturdily to the base tiles(I am using matte board for mounting).
These are all really well done structures. Lots of details and oddments... And I am hoping to play some Song of Blades and Mordheim with them (after I've built all 30+ structures). I've added WWG Hinterlands ground, road and river tiles & some trees. (Although I like the look of Dragonshires cobblestone streets and may purchase that and try those). From WWGVillage works I've got The well, stone bridge & Dungeon Crypt entrance. From WWG various sets I've got props such as Barrels, Gallows and Crates.
I think a few burnt out structures would also be fitting. I've just got to decide which ones to base them from.
BTW the only really obvious missing structure would be a church. Every medieval city was built around a church wasn't it?

FloydSki,
Good to see you buddy! Does this mean we might see more of your colouring - you have the touch.
As for these, last year I was talking to Dave about getting hold of the .psd of these to strip out the visible outside features (trees, signes, animals etc) to mirror them for the inside. This would create a basis for making ruins. Also I wanted to play with them to see if I could fiddle with the structures to make it more stable and a tad easier to construct - knowing that these are based on F-Greens work and not his own constructions (so I was not insulting his constructions).
Last week I mailed him to see if we could get the ball rolling again in this direction, I have yet to hear from him.
With these and Jim's work there are whole gaming worlds that could be played. I love this.

Good to see this thread come up again. Searching down these buildings was what made me take a good hard look at the One Monk website. I'm glad it did. I haven't put any of these buildings together yet, but I have some printed out, settin' in the stack o' stuff to do someday!
Have fun! Steve

Hi everybody. I took a couple of months off from papercraft, but I'm getting a lot of emails about them lately. So in the last couple of weeks I've come up with some new stuff! I can only show you photos of demo models and concept sketches because these are definitely going to go on sale somewhere. These first two are tall townhouses for dark fantasy games. I've left off any imagery that's patently GW's, but these designs are basically the same style I've been using for my free Warhammer-inspired buildings. That is to say... these are perfect for every single fantasy game ever created, right? Right. Somebody asked for futuristic bunkers, so below you'll find my first sci-fi model. It's an armored war shed. This one will come in four styles (factory showroom, weathered, jungle hut, desert outpost). I'm thinking about making observation towers in a similar style. The temple below is a long-term project. The temptation with papercraft is to go big and get complicated... well, I'm not gonna fight it. I'm currently laying out the linework on this one. I don't look forward to actually building this thing, but it's going to be fun to paint the skin on. So that's what I've been up to. I've had requests for lots of stuff: bridges, damaged buildings, modern buildings. I'd like to try some of those when I find the time. Whenever that might be.

Awesome! If ever you need any ideas, just let me know and I'll happily share the sketches I have for building, although I think I already said that now that I think about it....
Anyway, I really look forward to your models. When you start selling I'll link to your stuff. JIM

Yeah a church! Flying flying buttress and all? That's the only thing really missing from the free set.
I like the new & brighter palette. And the additional window protrusions add a nice feel to the quad-level structures above. You definiately have a niche. Most of the fantasy town sets out there have their main structures fit into this 6x?? squarish build shape. Where as you change the footprint and height quite a bit. It gives that nice dynamic clustered feel of early medieval towns.
A mill wheel (both water and grain) would be usefull too. Ground tiles, a Fountain or Well, a bridge, some "Ruined" options and alternate roofs and you'd have a set as complete as any out there.
~Floyd <---big fan of this set!

Weird it was up last month as I linked someone there. Many be your right and he is getting ready for release. He had place a warning on the buildings that they would vanish when he was ready.
I really do hope he kicks out some sets soon - not only for WHFB & WHRPG but also for Malifaux

He has placed this instead:
[glow=red,2,300]Welcome back to Dave's Games.
Obviously, some things have changed. This is no longer a place to find fan-made books or supplements for Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, second edition.
I appreciate all of the kind emails I've received about my game supplements over the years. It's been my pleasure to design and share them with you. I'd like to give special thanks to Alexander J. Bateman and Juliea Stewart for their contributions to Hugelstein's Curiosities, and to the many people who contributed names to the Lesser Magic Spells list.
For now, I'm continuing to develop my own games. When I relaunch Dave's Games, it'll focus on new projects. If you'd like to contact me, feel free to email LuminousBeings at Yahoo or Gmail.
See you around!

Sorry if I've caused any inconvenience by taking my papercraft files offline.
I have to be honest about my free 'Warhammery' papercraft buildings -- they are gone forever from my site. However, I have no problem with peer-to-peer trading of those files if you already have them. You just can't sell them or include them in any product for sale.
For as much as I love Warhammer, I need to get out of that niche and set my sights on the whole fantasy/medieval market. Yeah, I used the word market. My papercraft designs are being re-worked and will be available for sale sometime in the future. I'm removing all of the Warhammer imagery, which really just means taking off a few skulls, ribbons and gothic crosses. I'm making other changes including new color schemes and more mix-and-match options. These revamped files be different enough from the originals that I won't feel too bad charging for them -- and the prices will be reasonable and comparable to other papercraft PDFs.
I should've started charging for this stuff a long time ago. I just didn't know how they compared to papercraft terrain that others are selling -- and at this point I feel like my designs are as good as anyone's.
I also have a few all-new designs ready to go, including some sci-fi bunkers and watch-towers. But I'm not sure how many new papercraft designs I'll be able to produce in my near future. I'm designing games these days.
I just finished (like an hour ago) laying out the playtest 1 document for VECTOR Hover Combat Racing. It's a print-it-yourself board game that puts an optimistic spin on the road-warrior theme. I want to look over the files for another day or two to catch the major goofs, but anyone who's interested in playtesting VECTOR should shoot me an email or PM and I'll get you set up.
Once I'm happy with the playtest file and I've got a few groups testing it out, I'm going to focus on the papercraft revamps. I want to get some of these available for sale by the end of the month. I'll get in touch with Jim and see if there's any chance of setting up a storefront here through One Monk, since I think it's a great idea to direct all papercraft-purchasing traffic to this one place rather than starting up my own site elsewhere.
So that's some of what I've been working on. Let me know if you want to try out VECTOR, since I'm eager to start sharing the basic game and see how it does in the wild.

Hey Dave, Glad to read your taking the plunge into commercial designs. I would love to see you do modular buildings, like single story boxes with separate roofs, over hangs, balconies, etc.
If you get the inspiration, I would love to see what you could do for a Orc encampment, dwarf village, hobbit homestead, elf settlement, evil fortress, tunnel complex, sorcerers tower and war camp.... just a couple suggestions. JIM

Hi Dave!
I really like your Warhammer buildings and look forward to the new updated versions. As you are at the process of reworking I would suggest you also get rid of the stuff like crates, grass, rain gutters etc that you added to the second version of your buildings. I prefer to build my buildings with interior textures, so these additions do look quite out of place as they are not three dimensional.
I hope we will soon be able to buy your creations somewhere.
Greetings, Zephalo

I'm also a fan of your structures and will definitely purchase a re-release. My one request is that when you layout the pieces on the pages if you could arrange them all the same between files. It makes easier to set things up for my craft-robo cutter that way. Thanks.

As you are at the process of reworking I would suggest you also get rid of the stuff like crates, grass, rain gutters etc that you added to the second version of your buildings. My PDF files will include layers that you can turn on and off, so you can easily get rid of any features you don't like. My one request is that when you layout the pieces on the pages if you could arrange them all the same between files. It makes easier to set things up for my craft-robo cutter that way. Since each design will feature a variety of textures, you can print off a dozen different looks just by selecting different layers and using one cutting file.
