For those of us with young children or who are just young at heart, try this site I found. www.thetoymaker.com/3WORKSHOP.htmlIt's worth a good trawl around the whole site as there are lots of little models/toys/cards etc dotted around. These are great for kids, especially the younger ones. For those who want a quick look at the kind of stuff you can find, here's a link to the fairy furniture page! (might be useful when Anita finishes her current project! ) www.thetoymaker.com/Toypages/29FairyFurniture/29FairyFurniture.htmlHave fun Mags

Wow! Those types of links are great! I'm buying the book! We should make a thread of any good finds like this for children. My children have been raised without the disadvantage of television, and they're sitting behind me right now working on a game from Ravensblight: www.ravensblight.com/papertoys.htmlReally, really awesome halloween themed stuff here. On a side note, my oldest two, being ten and eleven respectively, are the top of their classes; the oldest is the top in the whole state and student body president for the 5th grade. A dad's gotta take every chance he can to brag, eh? But I mention that because I'm certain that no television has had a massive role in their accomplishments, and the fact that they're fairly accomplished paper-modelers to boot. ;-D

lol
Great catch!
Man, this is trippy. Yesterday morning, someone asked me if I had read the zombie survival guide, which I hadn't heard of till then. After work, I went to a friends house, and when I used the restroom, I saw a copy of it on their bookshelf. On the way home, I went to Borders for a book (not the zombie guide) and saw it in a big display greeting the front door. This morning, my best friend referenced it in a conversation while getting coffee and now this!
I think it's a sign.... Somebody wants me to prepare for the zombie apocalypse.

Thanks for mentioning these Mags! There are so many great and creative things people do on the web.... The Dream Theater model, Nifty Triangle Box and vintage spinners were some of my favorite models of hers I've built and gave away. She has a wonderful illustration style. I hadn't noticed her book was released. That will make a very nice gift for the holiday season. As well as: Urban Paper Toys a collection of great, easy to build, wonderfully eccentric and accesible paper model toys collected by Matt Hawkins from some of the top illustrator/designers in that genre. This: Where the Deep Ones Are. Illustrated childrens book about your favorite Elder God and mine ~Chtulhu written by Kenneth Hite & Illustrated by Andy Hopp. Done in the vein of Where the Wild Things Are. Every child needs to know whom their masters are. And This: Casteaway Pirate Pop-up Book. One of the most beautifully illustrated and intricately facinating popup mechanics I've ever seen. This guy is a master at the craft. I liked the follow up book to the Zombie Survival Guide (World War Z) even better. The audio version has an all star cast reading it too. ~F
