Following along with something more like the Wizard Fighter Gandalf was portrayed. I'd thought I'd give a go at a recolor and modificaiton of the wizard figure from the excellent new Dungeon Adventurers set.
The back is finished and contains the cape continues the subtle folding that you see on the front corner and I put a magic symbol in its center.
As you can see it's a rather extensive color and texture change. As well as modifications to the face, eyes and particularly the beard(which I kind of rushed since not that much detail will show on most printers anyway...but there is enough). Also some laster printers may have trouble distinguishing the subtle blue/purple detailing in the robe. I had to exaggerate that detail(brightness, contrast) when test printing. It looks real nice on a inkjet though.

Fl0ydSki's Talent is BACK!
You totally rock as far as the colour pallet goes! I do hope you give all the others in the party a F-Treatment - as that would totally bring it alive (having varations of the party give rise to extra members etc.)

Jim: I actually do too many ranges for just one person, but I'm a bit mental.
I would like this recolor/modification of Jim's Wizard to remain free as part of the Hordes. Please do not repackage/resell this particular model. If it is intended that any or part of it or the Hordes it was part of be sold, kindly delete it from the roster.

Jim did a good job addressing most of this in a message he posted. But to recap, the Hoard isn't changing. Jim's still running it and we will still be posting it on the main site for free. btw, that's a good coloring job.
Vermin King: Not the style you are looking for, but try a search for 'paper theatre' or 'paper theater', and you will find a few pages of epinal figures. Not many, but I know there are a few

shep: Does anyone know where to find decent individual minis of late Roman Republic era civilians? From senator to slave, every mini would be great, as long as they are not legionaires or generals or other military (Praetorian Guard and Roman Vigiles excluded)

cowboyleland: Now I have seen it. It doesn't advance our hobby, but anyone with half a brain who wanted 2nd rate figures could easily figure this out for themselves so I guess he isn't doing any harm.
