Who would be interested in One Monk Miniatures t-shirts? I have wanted to make some since Jim sold us the site. There would have to be pretty good support since it's tough to get a good price without a good amount of numbers.
If there is support for this then I will do up some designs and we'll have a poll for the favorite one(s).
These could also make for some very cool prizes for any contests we might hold.
Chime in.

Want to share my tiny experience with that: Here in Italy we got a price about 15/20€ for top quality cotton t-shirt printed with ONE color. I don't know if the number of colors changes the price. I have a pair of that t-shirt on each annual "national rally" i do with my scooter: my oldest are from 2003 and the print is still great.
We have a variable number of 60-100 t-shirts, and the price is not changed so much in the years.
I know for sure that handling the various sizes is a mess. We (the rallyst) have to find a seller that does not impose a stock number of shirts for each size.
I'd like to have one of the OneMonk site, but having it here is likely to be expensive. It may be a good thing to have it at a convention like Lucca Games (which can be a good place to sell pre-printed or pre-cutted articles also), but it is not a simple thing to do.

I think Parduz is right, that it might be logistically a bit messy.
That being said I'd love to have a OneMonk shirt and would even pay a bit over the going rate to have one.
So if you're willing to put in the effort put me down for one. (As long as you print off some in big sizes)
;D

I think it would be best to gather orders and then check how you can get what you need. Bulk orders when you don't even know whether you can sell that many might not be a good idea with all the different sizes - and continents to ship to. After all, we're a select few I'd say.
Personally, It's depend on what's on the shirt. In general, I might be open to the idea.

Wouldn't using cafe press be the way to go? Rather than ordering a whole bundle of one type at once?

I had this in the works prior to this thread, hence why it seems to have appeared so quickly Taken me about a week to get any time to take some pictures... all via cafe press cost $37 shipped to Aus, I did have to do special very high res export (read computer nearly choked ) from inkscape of the image so it came out crisp. something really nice about having your own artwork on a shirt lol.

I think Aaron is trying to revive this idea. Any cool slogan/sayings that go with the paper craft hobby? Something edgy and hip. If we got it done in time we might make them part of the prizes for this year's Papercut Awards.

Personally, I would look towards the asian countries for the buying and printing, t-shirt are next to nothing to buy, and even cheaper to print. I normally buy my t-shirts for around 150-250baht (3-5 pounds UK) here in Thailand, and that's going through a middle man, so i would think the cost per T would be about 50-75 (1.50 pounds UK).

Wow that is very inexpensive. I think most of the online sites still charge $10 or more. I just worry about getting things 'right' when using Chinese manufacturing (I've heard many stories).
P.S. Got a good slogan to go on it?

"Sanity Studios: papers cutting edge" and then a clever picture featuring a paper cut.

Hey Phantombaz,
sorry for the delay. Life is nutz for me lately. My wife will give birth any minute, and outside of work I've been trying to get a baby room and the rest of the house ready and take care of the kids to give her a break.
If you could help us out with prices like that I'd be all over it. I'll send you a shirt design as soon as I can. Can you get a logo on the sleeve where you get yours printed? I was thinking of doing a Onemonk logo front and back with a Sanity Studios logo on the sleeve, just to add to the confusion of the whole Sanity Studios/Onemonk thing. But more ideas are very welcome. I like the previously mentioned idea,
I will get a design or two to you sometime later tonight (for me in the western U.S.)
Thanks for offering to help.

Oh, new baby on the way, your 1st i take it, well i know the ins and outs of that, my baby girl will be 3 next month... and she turning into a little monster to be honest i don't know what these guys can, if it will just be a front and back print or if they can do the army too. just a quick question, what is the onemonk logo?

Well actually this will be my 3rd daughter. We just have a different house, so I have to get a room ready for all the baby stuff that we packed away in the basement. Been doing some remodeling and painting the last couple of weeks. Almost done with the room now. One more good day should do it. As for the t-shirt, Here is a look at the really basic design that I did. Simple front and back with the onemonk logo. The shirt is supposed to be gray. The back looks right, but the front looks almost black. I really like the idea of doing one with the skull emoticons though. I will play around with that idea. Maybe like one of those "how are you feeling today?" sort of shirts with a whole bunch of different emotions. That could be cool. ;D Attachments:
